Hey y'all. I just finished my first cardio video, and I feel great. I'm trying to get in shape for a trip to the east coast with my fiancee before he deploys, and I want to lose 40 pounds before we get married whenever he comes home! I'm really looking forward to this challenge!

Hi! My name is Joanna and this is the first challenge I've ever joined, so bear with me. I have no clue how any of this works :) I'm 24 and looking to lose 15 pounds and to get into better shape. I have been going to the gym daily: 30 mins on the treadmill at 6.0 incline, speed-walking and using the upper and lower body weight machines for some strength training. However, lately due to this crazy weather with tons of snow and ice, I feel really reluctant to leave the house and was looking for something i could do at home. I'm all set and ready to go! Hi all. My name is Suzi. I will be 31 on 20 Feb. I started this challenge because I have a goal of 10 kg's lost in 10 weeks for a special occasion. I hope that this challenge will keep me motivated to exercise. My eating is not bad but on the exercising front I'm on and off. I'll try my best to stay ON with this challenge :)

Hello! My name is Candice. I am going to be 25 (YEEEKK!) and I have two kids (4 yrs old and almost 1) who keep me VERY BUSY! :) I am also a full time student, slave, teacher to my children, and much more. I have actually been doing the boot camp challenge since the second week of January! So sorry for not dropping by sooner or showing support to this challenge. I have not had the time. I have successfully completed most of the stages, I am in stage or week 4 right now.

I love Sparkpeople and I love the healthy lifestyle it has provided me with. I am on a roll and I LOVE it! My focus is on consistent exercise and healthy meals. I have been reaching my goal with all of the wonderful resources right here at my finger tips, and with all of the inspiration that you all bring!

I am doing the 28 day boot camp challenge to jump start my goal of running a 10K this summer and someday a 1/2 and full marathon.

My plans for this week are to run 15 minutes 3 days, and other cardio the other 2 days, as well as the 7 boot camp videos.

Just finished day one! 40 minutes of cardio!

I'm losing weight for my sister's wedding in June and my wedding in October! I'm pretty top heavy, but I'm planning on rocking a strapless dress...it's hanging in my closet, so it is always in there, reminding me to work on those Michelle Obama arms!

Hi! You can call me Maggie, I'm trying to lose (at least) 20 pounds by the end of July, and hopefully more after that! I started out strong last Jan, and lost about 20 lbs. by June. Then I sort of just sat at the weight I am now, and I've started trying to jumpstart myself again this past January. I've got the diet part down, now I just need to get the exercise part down! :)

Hi everyone, my name is Sue. I'm trying to lose 20 pounds by mid April. So far I'm losing steadily (about 1 pound a week), but at this rate I won't meet my goal. I know that what I'm lacking is exercise, so I thought this challenge might help me get motivated. My daughter is a senior in high school this year and is headed off to college in the fall. So this April, the two of us are leaving my husband and 2 sons at home and heading to Florida for a girls trip. I'm so excited and I really would love to be 20 pounds thinner when we go. Also, I'll be turning 40 in November, and I feel like if I don't get fit before then, I never will.So this is it...I have no choice but to succeed!!!

Hi, I started SP and thought this would be a good challenge for me. The goals are totally doable and I hope to see a significant change at the end of the month. My camera is broke :( I never cared much before because I don't like my picture taken anymore, but I'm a lil bummed now it would've been nice to see "before" and "after".

Hello, my name is Sarah and I've been on sparkpeople on and off for about a year. I've been on my journey to lose weight whole heartly since about December and so far I'm down about 18 lbs which is awesome! I recently joined an IsaBody Challenge with my mom and 2 aunts and I thought this would be really good to help keep me in check and on target with my goals! Hi Im jennifer but i go by jenn, im 29 mother of two toddler boys 3 1/2 and 2 yrs old. I had them pretty close together and c-sections so its been very hard for me to tighten my abs and have gained weight due to a back enjury but im getting my body and mind ready to get back into shape. now that my boys will be working out with me i have to make it a misson for all of us! emoticon

Hi, My name is Katie. I have struggled for the past 5 years since my son was born to lose 20 pounds of baby fat. I work out but never seem to lose more than a few pounds. I turn 40 in July and I want to meet my goal. I love most activities including yoga, running, my elliptical trainer and watching a good movie. I am getting sort of tired of always being in the cycle of success and failure. My name is Sandy Grape and I joined this team because I have found joining a challenge keeps me motivated. I am an older gal...mature we say, and since joining SP in 2009, I have found that to stay motivated and exercise requires me to stay connected. That's the majic for me!

I injured my hip flexor muscle somewhere around Thanksgiving, and I went to physical therapy to help it get better. It wasn't until just a few weeks ago in January, I was released temporarily starting to walk every week. You see...the hip flexor controls the entire movement of the leg, and when it is injured, just getting through the day at work became all I could handle. I'm glad I'm getting better, and sometimes I hear the muscle speak, especially when I'm moving in too much of a hurry.

I'm looking forward to this particular challenge as I signed up for a St. Patrick's Day Run/Walk 5K, and I want to feel like I'm in training.

I'm 24 years old, and I'm trying to lose the weight I gained over the course of last year due to neglect on my part. Hi everyone. I first started the bootcamp in January. Actually signed up but didn't start. Today I did start. I've done the day 1 video (ALL 10 minutes which is a milestone for me.) and logged it into my fitness. I'm drinking my water and logging my food. I have to get this weight and belly fat off. Hi Ladies,

I am so glad I foudn this challenge. I want to do the bootcamp because I have set a goal to lose 30% of my body weight (63 lbs) and I want to do it in a fun way around likeminded people.
I have gained all this weight in the last four years and I'm really embarrassed to be out in town and seeing new people that have that look on their face that says "holy, you gained weight".
I also want to do it for my own personal health that has taken a toll since this huge increase in my weight. I have lost 13 lbs on my own since Jan 1!

Hi! I'm recommitting myself to this challenge. I actually joined a little less than two months ago, thinking winter break would be a good time to get into the habit of exercising without the stress of school, but for a variety of reasons, the holiday season was the wrong time to do it. I recently visited a nutritionist and found out I haven't been getting enough protein, probably at least contributing to my lack of energy. Now that I've adjusted my diet a bit, I have energy to burn so I'm taking advantage and I'm going to try to get into an exercise routine before the stress of finals gives me an excuse to hide in a library. I started because, I am sick of hiding photos of myself and of my thighs rubbing together. I feel better when I exercise and I need all the motivation I can get! Today was Day 6 and so far so good.

hi everyone!!! my name is karen and i am very new to this so i hope i am doing things ok...i am 52 and have fibromyalgia...i do NOT want to use this disease as an excuse, i want to kick it in the butt and win for once...i want to be proud of what i see without the fat hanging over my pants...i want to feel i am worth doing this for and not just for my husband...i want to feel like my life is beginning and not over...i was separated (which devastated me ) and am now reconciled but i think i am still depressed from all that...i want to beat all this crap...i want to wear cool clothes and not old lady clothes to cover my belly up...i hope this is what i am to write about because i usually keep all this in and deal with it alone...i do want a flirt or a whistle...lol...thank u for listening...

Hi everyone my name is Geneva I am a married mother of three boys. I have been on here for a while now but I just became serious about me losing weight the beginning of January. My husband is currently incarcerated but he have been a big encourager in all of this. He keeps me motivated to do this, He works out twice a day and because of his love for how he is looking I want the same thing so I said it's time to stop just sitting around thinking that it will happen on it's own and just get up and do something about it. I joined a gym and I have been eatting a little better as the day go on. Being that my youngest child is overweight, me and my little man have start doing this together. Even down to the aerobics at home. I purchased him an aerobics dvd for children. We are taking babysteps right now but with God all things are possible.

Hi I'm Jessica! I'm 25 looking to lose part of the 50 lbs I put on in 6 months, 2 years ago due to medication I'm on. I'm on weight watchers with my second weigh in tomorrow. (I lost 3.4 lbs my first week). I work out with Wii Fit, Wii Zumba, sit ups on a balance ball, and walking at the mall or on the treadmill. I'm doing boot camp as a way to help tone up and get even more in shape. I'm looking to get down to about 135 lbs from my current 156.8 lbs. Here goes nothing!

Hi everyone! My name is Beth and I just had my 3rd daughter on December 13th. Now that she's 7 weeks old and I've recieved the go ahead to workout again I'm committed to lose weight. I have about 13 pounds to lose to get to the weight I was before my pregnancy and 27 to lose to get to my goal weight of 125, More than anything, I want to be toned. I've been 107 lbs before my first daughter and looked skinny, but didn't look healthy. I want to be a toned 125. Good luck everyone!

Hello, my name is Tammy.. I have been with SP over a year and I have lost over 30 pounds and kept them off in the past 11 months. I need a change in in routine as I don't have a trainer my exercises are getting boring/ So have joined this challenge to get me back on track and give me new ideas...
