Hello Everyone! My name is Christine. I currently weigh 174 and my goal is to reach 155. I just recently got engaged. Right now, a few of my co-workers and I have entered ourselves into the Hero Rush on March 2, 2013. We are trying to get back in shape and to give fire departments and police departments a run for their money. My fiancee is very supportive and informed me that he was not going to participate but he will be there to root us on. So, I just want to be able to live a healthier life and just enjoy!

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself....My name is Jaime and I am a stay at home mom and wife of a dairy farmer, my kids are soon to be 3 and 1 yr old. So being busy with my kids I like to workout at home. Some of the workouts I have are: Slim n 6, turbo jam, Mama wants her body back and intensati....but I love Jackie Warners workouts because she just gets right to the workout, gets you motivated, and doesn't talk your ear off during the workout! Haha! I have her Power Circuit Training dvd and love it! Glad to have found this group! :)

Hi everyone,

my name is Val and I'm a SAHM of 2 kids (10 and almost 7) as well as 2 furry kids (2 cats) and happily married to my soulmate. Due to Hubby being in the Navy, we're currently stationed overseas, in Sicily, Italy! (No, it's not as romantic and awesome how one might think! LOL We're pretty much stuck in the middle of nowhere!)
Since ~12 years fitness DVDs are my main way to work out (daily) and while I don't need to lose any weight, I'd like to firm up a little bit again after having exercised mainly with Leslie Sansone and Denise Austin (I love both though!) and feeling the need to switch things up a bit!
So now I'm planning on including Jackie 's as well as a few of Jillian Michaels' DVDs and look forward to getting to know like-minded workout buddies here! emoticon
[I'm currently still waiting on 4 of Jackie's workouts though, so for right now I'm focusing on Jillian's..]

Hi everyone! My name is Amanda & I'm a SAHM. I have a degree in Anthropology/Archaeology, but it's just as awesome to stay at home with my kiddos. I have 2 biokids ages 12 & 6 and 2 stepkids ages 6 & 4. Our house is very busy!!!

I recently suffered a major loss--my little boy Julian (Jude) was born sleeping (stillborn) January 26th of this year. I was 6 months along when we lost him. Instead of relying on medicaction to get through my perinatal grief, I'm turning to exercise, healthy diet & meditation. Every day is a struggle, especially since my loss is so recent, but I'm trying to focus on the positive and show my living kids that I'm strong--both emotionally & physically.

I have Jackie Warner's book (This is Why You're Fat), a few of her DVDs and I used to watch her show when I had time. I really love her honesty and her approach to fitness.

I joined SparkPeople March 12th & am following Jackie's diet in her book, but doing my fitness around my family's busy schedule. I do at least 30 minutes of cardio every single day & I work in DVDs a few times per week. I really love circuit/interval training.

I have 70 lbs. to lose. Before my pregnancy, I was carrying around an extra 40 lbs., but gained 30 during my pregnancy, so yeah...I have a lot of work to do, but I am focused on seeing my goals through. emoticon

Oh wouldn't that be AWESOME to meet them! Does Jackie still have her gym in LA? (Reason I asking I going in February would like to stop by there!) emoticon

Omgosh I don't even want to tell you how many DVDs I have let's just say I have more than 20 and some on VHS! emoticon I have always been active person (love sports, loved playing sports) until I was sidelined with blood clot but what can I do right i just have to find other things instead, that is why hubby and I picked up tennis. emoticon Since we both played soccer (how we meet and that was our couple thing we did together) so had to find something else).

Nice to meet you too, can't wait til dr releases me so I can get back to Jackie's workouts.

Nice to meet you Maria. I'm hoping that the leg situation resolves itself but you're right to be careful. Clots are nothing to play with. I'm easily bored as well I have about 15-20 DVD's in my collection my favs are Jackie (I like her swagger) and my guy crush Bob Harper. I think I have all of the inside out series the transformation series and the kettlebells.

I want would love to meet both of them in person one day.

Health: Pretty good (except for the blood clot in my leg which keeps me from doing many active things) BUT that doesn't mean I don't try! emoticon My leg just swells alot and I am done for the day.

Fitness Goals: To get down to 125, be toned and trim, eat healthy. Right NOW I am doing The Firm Express Get Thin in 30 (I do one workout a month and then switch it to something else every month to keep from getting bored) b/c I get bored easily. And I have to say working out 20x 3x a week and 1st week I lost 1.2 lbs! As opposed to working out 1 - 1 1/2 hrs a day and not losing anything (I was working out too hard according to Spark article).

I do love JW DVDs I got great results with her and in one week I could see my arms sculpting ppl asking me what weights was I lifting! I can't wait to go back to working out with JW as soon as dr releases me (as I had hernia surgery and hysterectomy surgery in September 2011).
