I think I'm in the right spot now! I did my first video on Monday-a day late but that seems normal for me emoticon I need a challenge to keep me going so thought I would try this. I am 60 and need to relose 50 lbs but am having problems because the arthritis has caused scoliosis after having caused me to have 2 knee replacements. I had lost 130lbs before the arthritis hit. This will force me to start the day with at least the video and then I can get to the gym for the cardio on a machine or in the pool. Hopefully I learn how to track the bootcamp correctly!!

Hi everyone,my name is Tracy. This is my first Spark challenge.I have been doing the Metabolic Research Center program since mid January and have lost 28# but have been stuck there now for 3 weeks. I was starting to get really frustrated and almost teetered into a back slide on Easter(all that yummy food,LOL),but this has come along at the perfect time to make me get my butt moving.I have been going to the gym every morning before work and walking during my lunch break. Trying to squeeze in the boot camp videos after the kids get to bed every night. I live in Panama City FL home of "The World's Most Beautiful Beaches" and have been ashamed to wear a bathing suit in almost 15 yrs. We can all do this thing!!!!! Lets get our groove on and get moving!!!!

Hi I am Darci. I really like this challenge! Just what I need to get back into the routine of exercise. I just did the Day 1 video, so I can check that off! Woo Hoo! While I am not one who necessarily needs to lose weight, I am NOT in shape at all. The Leg workout today KILLED me. I am excited to get toned and if I lose a few pounds great!! Really excited to see what the next 28 days will bring. Hoping the beginning of a new habit!!

HI. I'm glad to see this challenge, since I could use a little boost getting back on track. I've been exercising regularly, but it's fun to add new things. My biggest issue is that too large portions of too many goodies have crept into my diet. I'm going to try very hard to keep up with tracking EVERYTHING I put into my mouth.

Hi my name is carrie and on the last challenge i was working on maintaning my weight. This time i have renewed myselt and my goals and would like to work on losing 20 more pds before July 2011.

I have started jenny craig on Weds morning and have stuck to it for the past 5 days. My starting weight was 188.8 when i weighed in on Weds. I have also been working out for 25-35 mins,since weds and been drinking my 8 things of water eating my fruits and working on veggies

then on Sat i took a 4.5 mile walk and it felt good to be back outside again. I will see about walking again tomorrow if the weather permits.I just will just take a shorter one.

I do have an amazing story to tell you about my walk/jog that i took today. Since i can remember i have not been able to jog or run for a few reason. 1. i had to much holding me down.and 2 was embarressed about it Well today i decided to walk up my hill and then i began jogging. I am not sure how long i was jogging for since my tracker stopped a few min into it. I think i did it for at least 1.5 miles. I am going to have to redo my jog sometime today to find out for sure. It felt amazing to be able to actually jog for the time that i did.

Today i went on my jog/walk again and it came to 34 min diistance 2.11 miles cals were 226 and speed was at 3.7. I only made 3 stops to catch my breathe

Hey there! I'm 25 and this is my very first day on SP. I joined this group because in addition to my main reason of wanting to lose weight for training purposes, my secondary reason is because I live in Southern California and while I'm not afraid to go to the beach (bless board shorts and rash guards), I am afraid to just chill in a bathing suit at a water park. I love water slides and I haven't been on one in six years. Well, plans have been made so it's time for me to get my butt of the couch!

Don't be embarrassed to go to the beach. Think of it as a means to exercise and leave food behind. Learn to love who you are right now and things will only get better as you slim down. However even if you don't lose anything, don't miss out on life while you are waiting. You deserve better.

Hi, my name is Penny and this is my second challenge. I'm so excited about this one because I feel like its that start of a new me. A year ago the only exercise I had was maybe to and from the mailbox. Now I've completed the Virtual 5K and I'm looking forward to completing this one. I'm hoping the exercise bug will bite me and then I will only have to worry about the "fork to mouth" problem.

I figured if I start with the thing I hate the most maybe it will become a daily routine and then I can focus on eating better.
