Hey Liz!
Welcome to SP and congratulations for getting back to your health and getting back into running! Don't forget to incorporate some weight/resistance training so you burn more fat while doing all that cardio plus as we get older you need weight baring exercises to help prevent osteoporosis! Have an amazing time in VEGAS! Lots of walking to do there and beautiful places to do running trails as well.

Hi everyone! My name is Liz. Just signed up today! Don't know if this week was the right time to start with the Fourth of July and all. I had lost 20 pounds on a previous plan, but gained it all back and was truly in denial for I long time. I thought I still looked good. I thought I was still those 20 pounds lighter. Went for check up, hubby and I and found we both have high cholesterol. Plus I put on some pants that used fall right off of me, but now they fit just right. emoticon . Time to do something about it. I also just started running and love it! I've done a couple of 5ks and looking forward to do more. I'm hoping that by joining I can lose the weight and lower my cholesterol and make me faster. And I want to be kept in checked with the holiday and my vacation to Vegas next week. emoticon Thanks!
