Welcome to Sparkpeople and congratulations for your persistence and dedication to getting healthy fit and strong. Sometimes we try everything wanting "it" gone yesterday and then we don't learn anything, OR we deprive ourselves OR we just aren't mentally ready...OR ALL OF THE ABOVE. You sound a bit tired and sad, but I assure you...if you are honest with Sparkpeople, it will always be honest with you. Track everything that passes your lips. You will learn more about yourself and your nutrition. Allow yourself balance and moderation. Want ice cream? great! 1 serving = tracked....you are in control. Decide. Commit. Get it done. Keep it off. You have to decide that you will change and create new habits and that you want it. WHY DO YOU WANT IT? Unless you feel that WHY deep in your inner core, you'll just keep plotting along on the yo yo. Find your passion. Your reason. Your why!
You are worth the time and effort this journey requires.

I am not new to this weight loss journey. I am in my late 40's and feel seasoned in the diet industry. I have learned to be skeptical of the "lose weight fast" schemes..since I tried many of them. But yet I struggle to keep myself under control.
