emoticon Elizabeth, glad you came back to SP again....it's a good support network for sure.
I like to do lots of walking and don't forget that SP have lots of free exercises on here.

Welcome, Elizabeth. I'm Leann - currently in TX for the winter and spend my summers in Northern WI. I just joined SP the end of July and what has helped me is I purchased Leslie Sansone's walking DVD's. They are pretty inexpensive and I have 4 now, so I can switch up my routine. I also just recently purchased the SP Activity Tracker (it's half price) and that has been a big motivator since it sync's to your computer, you automatically can see how many steps you have taken each day. Take each day ONE AT A TIME and slowly but surely you'll see results. It's also very important to track your food and fitness and if you do that faithfully, you'll see the weight come off. Welcome Elizabeth. I'm Liz. I live in Colorado. I have 3 children, all out of the house. My husband and I will have been married 34 years in December.
We have both been having medical issues so I know what you mean about needing to exercise and get healthy. I have a treadmill and a dog to walk. I have several exercise tapes but they bore me and most of them are VHS and my husband took out our VHS/DVD player and put in a Blue Ray. Regular housework can be a good workout. Join us on the backfence 35. Looking forward to your posts. Liz

Hello,
I am Elizabeth. I am the single mother of six, with two at college and four still at home. I joined Sparkpeople a few years ago when going through my divorce, but got distracted with life. I am lacking time, energy, and willpower, and need accountability and support, so here I am. I would love some ideas on starting exercise at home (too far to a gym).
