ANGIE you can turn off the food/meal plans created by Spark. There should be a button near the top of where you log infor the day(not exactly sure where) also, there's the button where you enter foods, and you can enter your own and fill in the next screen with your own calorie cound, etc.

Welcome to SP. I am sure someone else will be a bit more specific with the instructions... emoticon

You could buy a book with all the calories in any food listed but it will take you even more time to do.Good luck! emoticon

Hello, new to this site but not my first rodeo with weight loss and gain....I have some questions about the logging of food. I don't typically follow the food that's logged for me in meal planning.....but I'm the type that needs to log my food. I have issue with the user created food calories that you can look up....they seem to swing dramatically in calories from one extreme to the next. Am I missing other ways to find and log the right amount of calories in my meal plan I add?

Don't dwell on the past....you're future is bright if you let it be!
