on stripe 7 of 18 for my test shawl

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

I've just started a simple scarf with some stash yarn, no pattern, just knitting away. It's nothing fancy, but it really feels good to get those needles back in my hands!

I'm doing some unexpected colorwork... I ran out of yarn (AGAIN! I think this skein is really short from what the label says...) so I'm doing the 8th wedge in a coordinating solid (which I fortunately had in stash!) I actually really like how it's coming out.

Oh oh oh, I finished a wingspan as well. Loved it and couldn't knit it fast enough! I just loved seeing how the colors played out in the short rows. I blocked it severely and it's just gorgeous.

Working on socks for my two adult sons. Both at the same time, so that I don't lose steam somewhere between the first pair and the second.

Weekend time out to knit 2 pair of booties for upcoming important babies.

No, I really really don't have a foot-fetisch :-)

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

Oh, I'm jealous of the completed objects... This cardigan is SO MUCH STOCKINETTE. :(

I'm a couple inches shy of being done with the peplum, I still have the bodice, sleeves, and button bands to go...

Got my Revoluti Shawl off the needles and blocked. It's beautiful. That's two for this month. Working to finish my In The Pink scarf/shawl now. Beading the end points on it as I work on the border. I like the look, simple but elegant.

Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis
on which the world earth revolves-slowly, evenly, without
rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment.
Only this moment is life.
