Thanks for encouragement. I do feel better, though still easily tired and short of breath and my eyes are very affected--can only use them (reading, TV, or computer) for short period of time. I have no plans to drive or do anything difficult for a few days.

Frances and Doris--I agree about humidity and cold weather. I was always very cold in winter when I lived in Manhattan and walked near or toward the Hudson River--much colder to the bone than in Wisconsin. Although it was extremely cold one year when I went to northern Wisconsin skiing (-35) and I got frostbite on several fingers, it didn't seem as cold as NYC!!!

Good morning. The sun is shining bright and it will be a little warmer today, In the upper teens with light wind. Not a bad day. Yesterday I still took it easy and slept a lot but did do a few things around the house. It is slow going but feel pretty good today so hoping for a better day. Hailley gets a good bath today and hopefully she will get her hair cut again next week. I need to stay on top of that so that it doesnít get too long. Hope that you all have a good day today.

Good morning! We have bright sunshine and lovely, fluffy mounds of snow. Pretty to look at and I don't have to go out to sweep the car or drive in it either.

I started the day, as usual, by making coffee. First, I managed to dump the water all over the counter instead of into the coffee maker. Then, I somehow managed to turn it on but not brewing so nothing happened. Eventually I realized if I wanted my caffeine I'd best get my act together so now I am happily into my morning routine.

Nas, I hope you have friends around you to reminisce and cry with you and be your support. It's nice T was there when you got the news.

Camey, good luck with your book. I like the premise.

Doris, enjoy the snow! It will probably be gone by tomorrow with temps going up again.

Leona, MINUS 17?!! We're at +21 right now and heading to the 50s again over the weekend. Funny thing, though, I'm not as cold here as I was in Virginia as it's a much drier cold. The humidity/dampness down there is much more noticeable.

Betty, last year I also used a small bin/tray to organize my vanity top and found it really improved the look. It makes it easier to clean, too, because you only have to move one bin versus each container. Little things!

Julie, there is something exciting in an approaching storm, I agree. I think the sudden drop in barometric pressure must set off an adrenaline rush. But the storms that follow! Sorry you're struggling with health issues now. Sometimes I think doctors just spin a little wheel with various diagnoses and go with wherever the arrow points!

Rosie, it's good you question your pharmacist. Sometimes - not often - they do mix up customer's orders.

I did another library run last evening and am stocked up for the weekend. Everyone will be at a soccer tournament in Kentucky for 3 days but I'm going to just kick back and enjoy some "me" time.

The one at the publishers now is Hard to Get.

A man is left at alter by bride who falls in love with his best man. He does not want to go into another relationship but the girl he is going out with has different ideas as she tries every trick in the book to get him to fall in love with her.

I have doc apt and want to get haircut if I have time then home to wash so I am off.

Only for a moment as I have so much to do today.
Julie, You were up in the middle of the night writing to us. Oh, I do hope you have a better day and night's sleep today and tonight.

We are finally to get a bit of real winter weather beginning this afternoon. They predict two to three inches of snow beginning about early afternoon. I am at home and will only look out at it. I am so glad that I have no appointments for this day and night.

Thanks for the tip Leona on how to save these posts. I really have not lost that many but will take it under the positives for later on.

Camey, I thought the synopsis of your plot for the new novel sounded fine. I do hope you get some great feedback.

I have so many tasks planned for today. I will look in later on to see how all are doing.

Good wishes to all for health and happiness. Doris emoticon emoticon

Julie- I agree with you on the breathing. My husband's oxygen level was always about 98 but his muscles got tired. I am glad you have yours somewhat under control. I think you are doing great and with a positive attitude.

The leukemia was what took him in a matter of weeks.

-17* this morning but should get to 17* above zero and tomorrow in the 30s.

Take care,

Good Morning everyone,

I stayed up late last night listening to the debate..tried to sleep later this AM but my kitty doesn't understand any change in schedule. So here I am.
I am cleaning out my sewing room and getting it ready for the blow up mattress when Betts comes next month. I have a lot of fabric and patterns to store. I also have bags of nice fabric scraps that I will take up to Peppermint Pig..for some quilter will find them useful.

I have enjoyed my vanity in my bathroom since I put all the hand lotions and hairsprays in a little bin. the counter top is now clear.

Still cold ane gloomy...Smiles, Betty :)

Leona, I have found that advise from doctors is very inconsistent when you have some less common type of problem such as myasthenia. With my current doctors, one states that my symptoms are from myasthenia and one that they are respiratory. I am about ready to quit going to the one with respiratory theories--who is my primary-- because he keeps ordering a lot of heart and lung tests that show nothing changed or new which I find exasperating. In contrast, the neurologist is amazed at my lung power when he has me do simple breathing/counting tests in the office. The last neurologist I had allowed me to alter the dose of medication up and down within certain clear limits when I was having more symptoms, while this one wants to be called before any changes. All are agreed, however, that I do not have a severe case and it hasn't progressed any for several years.

Julie- My husband had to change his medicines sometimes. He always was tired from the myasthenia but he learned to rest. He had a nice rocker in the garage and sat there when he was working outside. I looked at it the other day and the tears started.
Take care.

Doris-I have learned to "select all" and then "copy" when I am writing a long post on Spark. Too many disappear.

I found a part about Indian Corn in the book I am reading about how they planted. They did not just dig a hole, they prepared the ground with manure first.

Mississippi is spelled Mefchafipi in the book I am reading.

My mother spelled it M, i, crooked letter, crooked letter s, i, crooked letter, crooked letter s, i, humpback , humpback i.

Have a good night,
Leona emoticon

Julie I already started this one called In plain sight. It is about a girl who had a baby in high school and had to give it up. She marries the guy later in life and they move to a development and her next door neighbor adopted her baby but she does not know it. She sees the little girl all the time and has the little girl come over to bake cookies never knowing it is her daughter till the little girl grows up and goes to find her mother who was in plain sight all the time. This is the story I am writing.

Yes, I need to rest my hand. I have not gone into the story since I finished Hard to Get but instead looking for more publishers because you have to wait 3 to 6 months for an answer and sometimes they do not even answer you if they are not interested.

Tax at accountant, tomorrow 6 month doc visit. I wanted a year but he wants 6 months for BP checking and I am usually ok when I go to him because I can relax while dh goes in. At myGYN I can not relax as I go right in and it is high.

Rosie, I'm with you on staying home and resting when ill.

I just got up a few minutes ago after being in bed most of the time since yesterday at 3:00 in the afternoon!! I am not sure what went wrong with my system--could be the myasthenia or could be dehydration--but I have done nothing since then except drink plenty of water and sleep every possible second. Sue and Georgia keep suggesting that I go to urgent care or the doctor, but I know from past experience that I will be recovered and back to normal activities before they complete all their tests and decide what might help. I think it is more serious that I missed my weekly bridge game than that I got tired out and slept a long time!!

Nas--I'm very sorry to learn of the death of your niece. No matter the circumstances, it is painful to lose part of your family. Take some time out to just think special thoughts about what she meant to you and your family. Sometimes life goes on too fast around us and it is hard to take the time to put important changes and events into some meaningful perspective.

Betty--sounds like your birthday will be a hoot.
Doris--and yours, too!!

Frances--about the hurricanes and tornadoes--too shay (English version of French expression) Though I will note that hurricanes and tornadoes are very invigorating while they last--something about the air pressure, I suspect. The aftermath is the pits, however.

Camey--I thought you just finished a novel. Don't you need a little break to rest your hand and mind before going on to a new one?

Leona--it is amazing to see how events throughout the world are related and one thing effects another, isn't it. It seems that the world is overdue for another pandemic, but not sure that this will be the one, as it seems less lethal and those in Western medical systems are having better recovery rates and and responses to treatment. It is too bad that countries can't drop their restrictions and erase their boundaries until communicable illness are under control. Or, if countries could learn to work with each other to begin with, we wouldn't have to change petty regulations in order to let the flow of knowledge and skills reach wherever it is needed.

Marlene--you had quite a tragic history with ill family members. Somehow death is harder to deal with in your teens. I also remember sobbing uncontrollably at a funeral for a friend who drowned when we were 13 and a number of difficult relatives that lived with family members rather than going to nursing homes. I guess we all hope that we will not need to commit to caring for someone in a drawn out illness or for being cared for should we be the ill one.

Maureen--I know it is tough to get along with one working vehicle among 2 people, even though that was the norm when I was growing up. We had one car until I was 16 years old and I remember buying milk products and produce from people delivering at the house and my mom called the grocery once a week for them to box up our groceries for my dad to pick up after work.

Sharon--again, you get the prize for motivation and following through on your steps as much as is physically possible.

MOMTOLJ--You are new to me and I appreciated your perspective. Our minister frequently reminds us that when events are not good, stop and look around and see where God is--look for good effects or helpful persons.

The only tax, I did was Homestead Property Tax Claim, hopefully I get it soon as, am broke, Lol, and I put in for Home Heating Credit. I don't have taxes taken out of my SS as can't afford that.

I got another call from my Pharmacy this afternoon that there's a script for me or someone in my household and since I am the only one here that uses our Family Fare Pharmacy it was for me, I called to find out what it was, because I already picked up what I thought was all I was getting, yesterday, but, nope, the one I got yesterday was steroids, and this one is the antibiotic, that I need, so, had to tell them, that I can't go get them today, but, tomorrow, I didn't/don't plan on going out today. Tomorrow, I may have to go to the bank, and, mail out a bill, hopefully. I also need to write a letter, so, I can mail it out tomorrow, too.

Weather here, 19 and that's the high for here today and I believe, also for tomorrow, low in the single digits. The weekend looks better, I may not be going to Church this weekend, I need to take care of me, and not go and spread germs, in case I have some, I'm sure with a cough, best to stay home, until I'm better.

Income tax at accountant and came home and made cookies. I tried a different recipe with vanilla chocolate but I like the brown cho and peanut butter better.

Had to check printer as was not printing clear so had to clean heads. This one seems to have to have that done once in a while while other one never did.

I am starting to pick up stuff on computer and printer on how to do things. Slow process but it is coming into my head.

Arthritis in hand and thumb making it hard to type my new novel.

Good morning. I think things are starting to get better. I will be taking it slow and trying to increase my walking a little every day again and hope to be back where I was before this started. The sun is shining but it is very cold yet this morning but the temps will slowly start to rise now. We will have a few days in the 30ís this weekend so will have a little thawing. I am glad for that. Hailley is slowly improving also and I am happy for that. Hope you all have a good day.

Hello on Wednesday.

I just wrote a long post and it has disappeared. Oh, my goodness...I so hate this process some days.
I was telling Betty that I also cannot figure out why we have lasted so very long. My dad died at 58 and my mom at nearly 78. My dearest one is gone now 20 years and I miss him so deeply each day of this life.
Perhaps we can believe that your interest in the dance group of younger women and my love of writing has kept us going like the tv bunny that just keeps on, and keeps on.! Your party of having the group at the house to have fun sounds great..i hope it is a huge day of happiness for you.
I do not know why I am thinking so far ahead of my birthday? I guess that I am thinking Spring and am tired of the winter even though ours here is mild.

Rosie, I do hope your illness will abate very soon. Perhaps the new season will help

I have Praying Needles at one to three today and my friend, Pat will be driving.I am so fortunate to have such great people to take me to events.

Well, best get going...Good wishes for all to have a happy day. Doris emoticon emoticon

Good morning everyone,

Chelly came by yesterday and we dropped some "stuff" off at Peppermint Pig and then we came home and she tried to fix something on my computer but didn[t have luck. My Grandson is a computer whiz and I will have him take a look at it when he comes by..

Nas: So sorry about th loss of your niece.. emoticon

Doris: Guess I am the real old lady of the crowd..Ha ha...I told the kids that I didn't want any fuss on my birthday...just the family...so we are going to make ravioli together, which we did last year too and had such fun working together. And I asked for cannolis instead of a cake, so my dd Chelly who loves to bake will make them. We just like to hang out together and enjoy being together. I know your day will be special and fun. Did you ever think you would live this long?...I didn't...My parents both died in their 50's. So I have been caught off guard with no plans for these senior years. Thank goodness I have my hobbies and tap class.

I love Amazon...I ordered the blow up mattress and sheets one day and they arrived the next day....The prices were good too.

Smiles to you all. Betty :)

NAS- I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers for the family and hugs for you. emoticon

I keep getting updates on the Coronavirus and travel from my travel sites. It is hurting tourism which is a big income and jobs for many countries. I have been to China three times and always received a warm welcome. Pacific Delight, for one, has been in travel for more years than I have and they have cancelled trips. emoticon for all suffering.

Betty and Doris- How fun to have birthdays close together.

Doris- How special of you to test the entries. emoticon

I had 3'-4" of snow. Lots of accidents and spin outs this morning for the commute.

We did get some emoticon today and that is always welcome.

Frances- When I found the obit for my husband's ancestor, they also had "f" for and "s".

Still reading the book by Father Hennepin. Takes time. He does talk about the slaves the Native American (Indians) took and some torture, which he says was worse than Nero, for one. All and all, a very interesting read. He also talks quite a bit about canoes and "Indian" corn and tobacco. emoticon

Take care and have a good night,
Leona emoticon

Nas, so sorry for your loss of your cousin, it's hard for anyone, sending you emoticon and emoticon

Saw my PA for the followup, and I still have some wheezing, and a cough, have another script. for another 10 days, and I'm to go back to see her in 2 weeks, she also wants me to use, an inhaler 4 times a day, so a script. for that, I've never used one b4, nor have I ever had to, so, I don't know how, has any of you ever had to use one,? My PA explained to me how, but, I don't remember everything on how to do that, like she explained.

Hello,
What a huge amount of entries only since yesterday.!

First I will comment on Nas' post by telling her how sorry I am about the loss of her niece. Prayers for you and for her. Be comforted dear as it sounded like she had been is a great deal of pain.

Betty, how nice that you will be celebrating your forthcoming March birthday with your son.
As we know, our birthdays are only one day apart. Ha! you are the older one by a day..
I have no idea what I will be doing for my 'big' day. Usually, my son and Dil ( more like my third daughter now) will take me out for an elegant birthday dinner. Truly that is enough of a celebration for me. Since I had my huge parties when I reached 90, I do not expect more.
Yours falls on a Sunday and mine on Monday. I do like a bit of pampering, who doesn't!

I finished all of the contest entries this morning and Whew, what a job. I do like and encourage writing by these students as it is so important for their future studies.
I have a really good first place this year. I believe it is a young man. We only have numbers for the secret judging but I sometimes get the vibes of who they are.

Well off for lunch. I think it will be a meatloaf sandwich again. I do like that meatloaf I made on Sunday. I really enhanced it with the Garlic

P. S . Janny was to call but perhaps she was too tired to do so. I hope she is not feeling worse right now. I hesitate to call her as she only has the answering on and I do know she needs .her rest. D emoticon emoticon emoticon

Not a good morning with arthritis as it is damp. We are expecting rain in the afternoon. We missed the snow. Got up at 9 as was t tired and aching with the dampness. Allergies bad today sneezing and blowing nose.

Washing again and have to put them in the dryer but so much of his clothes and only a few of mine so may have to separate and do drying in two loads.

Wanted to make cookies but too tired. Spring will be a welcome.

Reading a good book Unbroken Cowboy by Maisey Yates. It is good.

Wanted to work on my 4th book but hands hurt so maybe tomorrow as it should be sunny.

Cold here this morning, too. I have an appointment at eleven. I am still trying to get awake and get started.
I was never close to my grandparents. Both of my grandfathers died at an early age when my mother was nine and when my dad was fifteen. My dad's mother remarried but I never knew him and don't even know when he passed away. She lived close to us but I really was not close to her, I only remember going to her funeral and crying my head off I was thirteen, my sister tried to keep me quiet. My mother's mother lived in California and did not come to Oklahoma except she showed up at my wedding. I did not know my mother had invited her. Later in life she had thyroid cancer and my mother would not let her siblings put grandma in a rest home, so my mother took care of her until she died a horrible death eight years after I had been married 8 years. My older sister and her husband took me to her funeral in western Oklahoma.

Good morning! A quiet snowy start to the day, but heading into the 40s later so I will enjoy the view while it lasts.

Betty, what an exciting birthday celebration you'll have!

Julie, I've lived through a few ice storms, also. The worst for me, was some years ago when a tree came down on my car (parked in the driveway) and cracked the engine. That one took nearly a week to clean up and we wound up going to stay with friends in another city. Most of the time, though, I find northern winters awesomely beautiful, invigorating, and fun - and much less destructive than hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes.

Maureen, I always remember the Group of Seven because of the trees some of the painted. I thought those trees were so odd-looking until my first trip to the Haliburton Highlands when I saw that is exactly the way they grow up there. Eerily beautiful.

Rosie, I can't watch horror or scary movies either!

Leona, those old German esses always threw me for a loop when I was first looking through genealogy records. That sounds like a good book. Thanks for the prayers, also.

Karen, I lived in Columbus many years ago and really liked it there although, as in Virginia, I could never get used to the occasional blobs of wet slush that fell from the sky that they considered a snow storm.

Doris, it's true you don't realize what you're missing as a child when you don't have grandparents. Only in retrospect can you appreciate that special relationship.

Well, I'm on to the day and will see what pops up. Have a great one!

I am excited because My son told me he is coming home for my birthday in March, my daughter Betsy is coming too, so I will have all of my kids together. That is the best birthday gift I could ask for. Mary came by yesterday and we discussed plans for their visit. I purchased a blow up mattress to put in my sewing room so Betts won't have to travel back and forth rom Mary's house each day. I just hope the mattress will be comfortable.

Not much else happening...Chelly will stop by today and we will make a trip to Peppermint Pig to drop off some "stuff".

Smiles, Betty:)

Good Morning, everyone. Apparently I missed posting yesterday, though I checked in and read posts a couple times.

Yesterday I made a new recipe from a Plant Based Diet book. It was a lentil salad with sprightly seasoning (lemon juice and zest, green onions, garlic, fresh cilantro and mint) served on fresh greens. I made corn bread to go with it, though the corn bread was not "plant based". It was a wonderful meal and small portions were quite filling.

Today I go to water the church gardens and then take Sue out to lunch and on errands. In the evening I'll water trees in our gardens and make chicken soup with bok choy for supper.

Frances your description of the snow in the sunlight brought back many memories of snows in Wisconsin. It is very beautiful to see, though sometimes very destructive. The most memorable were The Ice Storm (gorgeous sun on ice coated trees but horrendous sounds of trees cracking as they split apart), The April Blizzard (Sue and I walked 1/2 mile from foot of hill to house through snow two feet high to rescue dog and we walked back to car and spent three days with friend in town until we were plowed out) and The Winter of Snow (snow never melted, but added and added on top for months culminating in blizzard with electricity out for 5 days and we hosted two friends and their two dogs for three days around our fireplace).

Goof Evening Ladies. Good to hear your cut was small ,Camey, even tough it bled a lot.
Got all my books stamped and ready for delivery. I used to have most of my customers fairly close and be able to walk to deliver most of the books . Times have changed as some moved and others stopped buying. Have picked up others from friends showing their neighbours the books.
Karen , sounds like a fun day out for you . Glad you found a couple of bargains.
Leona , hope you didn't get too much snow,.
Not much else happening , DH watched the Daytona races this afternoon and I did a little reading and had a nap for a half hour. Time now to go see what else is on TV for the rest of the evening. Will wish you all a Good Night God Bless Sweet Dreams. Stay Safe. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Maureen emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thank God it was just a small pinch but it sure drew blood. Seems ok now will take bandage off tomorrow. Always something happening.

We are missing snow tomorrow and getting rain and in the 40 range. Heard we may not get spring. I hope they are wrong. Love the fresh air when it comes. Hate this cold. Bad winter for me with arthritis.

Camey- Ouch. Hope the cut is not too bad.

Karen- Fun day. emoticon

I finished the LIbraryThing hunt. emoticon I knew the answer to one and kept putting "rose" but the answer was "roses". emoticon

Watching the race off and on.My grandson was in the midget cars races but never kept racing which is OK with me. They went all over the states.

Vincent Price movies are on Comet TV today so I am watching them. emoticon

I have over 2 " of snow the past few hours. Supposed to get less than an inch. emoticon

Rosie- Not good but glad you are OK.

Reading A New Discovery of a New Country in America by Father Louis Hennepin. This book was written in 1903 with an Introduction and Bibliography. This is the second edition of the original book by Father Hennepin and published in 1698. The "s" are "f" in the book so I am reading "thefe" instead of "these" so reading is slower.

My son has his Shop on East Hennepin in Minneapolis and Minnesota has a Hennepin State Park.

Interesting read of history. emoticon

Have a good night,
Leona emoticon

ROSIE..that is the kind of excitement all neighborhoods want to avoid.

LEONA... I enjoyed the opening ceremonies at the 500 race & hands on heart for the beautiful patriotic music. I need to watch the race later today.

I am blessed to have known 4 grandparents. I was especially close to my moms family. I have some memories of my great grandmother.

Columbus is sure a nice place to visit! DD took me to have lunch with dear granddaughter. It was a leisurely meal. They watched the Dayton flyers game while we ate & visited. We went to a high end consignment store. I am used to paying very little for my clothes so paying 12.00 for tops were high end prices. LOL. I found a pair of pants for 4.00 & a book for .25 cents. I also got 2 tops & a beautiful white topper.

It was about 930 when we got home. We had already stopped for supper. I don't often eat two meals out in one day so it was for sure a treat.

My granddaughter & her hubby will be able to move into their new home soon. She is driving more than an hour each way to her job at a health clinic. The job is going well. She has recently been designated CHARGE NURSE. She took the job a few months ago anticipating the house would be ready in November. The elevator install caused a delay. Hubby is in wheelchair so the elevator is needed. This will be our last trip to Columbus to visit her.

Sorry about the long post!

Thanks Leona. I heard from the publisher and she will get back to me. She just asked for the Synopsis so hoping she wants to read the novel.

Have a kids book out to a children publisher too.

Had a bad experience yesterday pickle jar had cut glass and I was bleeding, not to mention pickle juice on my book, table, floor and in the bin with apples which he cleaned.

So was disable trying to cut ribs which he had to do and put in oven so he could eat.

Today still have headache from yesterday over excitement I guess. Made beds and legs ache so he will put sheets in dryer and take them up. Making a salad today.

We had some sun yesterday, too, and my DD said it was warm outside, but, I have stayed in and stayed home since I went to the walk in clinic, and Pharmacy, oh Thursday. We also had some commotion Sat. night, behind my house on the corner, which I nor my DD or GK'S didn't hear, of course, GK'S didn't get home from their work until about an hour later, but, there was a shooting involved and they believe Narcotics as usual, and a bunch of guns in a pickup truck, that got stuck on a snowbank on the corner behind m house, a man was shot at, but, they missed and the victim went door to door and one gal let him in and then called 911 and a man and women was caught and picked up for murder with intent to kill or cause bodily harm, I can't believe I didn't hear any of that until yesterday morning. A man I know towed and hauled the pickup out and away. Ugly news yes, I know,

Irene hope you feel better and get strength back soon, emoticon and emoticon

Leona, I can tell you a family story about my 1st step mom and may have already some time back, lol but, back then was not very funny.

A quick hello.

I have 46 entries for our middle school contest and must critique each entry. So this will be a long and many days' job right now. I have chosen the four winners and that was very difficult.

I have not been sleeping well and missed two favorite programs last evening as I finally went to bed at eight. I was really 'knocked out' !!!

Irene, so sorry that you are not feeling very well right now. I do hope that your strength returns very soon. I do think of you and wish you well.

Must get back to work on the entries. I did get to mass yesterday and since Adela, my great-grandchild was visiting her grandparents yesterday was able to visit with her.

I guess your topic is grandparents. I never had the pleasure of any grandparents as both my parents were orphaned very early in their lives. I did have wonderful parents however and that made up for it

For now, Happy President's Day Doris emoticon emoticon emoticon

Good morning.

Irene- Take care. Hope you are better. emoticon

Frances- emoticon for your cousin.

I love to hear the stories of families. emoticon

I watched the beginning of the Daytona 500 and what an emotional setting with so many wth their hands over their hearts for the anthem.

Camey- Good luck on the book. emoticon

I have spent most of the day (s) searching. I think, like Frances, I will join so I can keep searching. There are so many sites to check.
I am running out of paper for printing and hoping the grocery store has paper. It is the only store besides a thrift store and gas stations in the town close to me besides restaurants.

LibraryThing has their hunt for books and authors also now. They give you clues and you have to find a book or author. emoticon

Need to get back to searching.
Have a good day,
Leona

Good morning! There is something in the air that says spring is coming. Just a hint, but we have hope.

So many great stories about grandparents and, of course, I envy all of you. I guess that's one reason my relationship with my grands is so precious. I do try to make many memories together and pass on family lore.

Irene, I hope the doctor can find the cause of your dizziness and fix it.

Library run today or tomorrow. I finished several, but a few that I picked up turned out to be "unreadable". One had so much foul language the story was lost and another was just badly written. Can't imagine why either was published. I do have one left that I've been slogging through (another rather poor writer) and will try to finish it only as it completes a challenge.

My cousin begins radiation treatment today and I'm anxious to hear how she does. She's very upbeat, so that is good.

Have a Merry Monday!
