I try to remember to take my supplement of magnesium & malic acid. I have heard that lot of people with fibromyalgia are low in magnesium. Thanks for the list of foods.

I take a magnesium/malic acid supplement daily from ProHealth. I know I'm not always eating right, so this helps.

On a list given to me by the hospital dark leafy greens such as spinach, kale, chard etc. are high in magnesium and so is milk and eggnog, soy products, beans, halibut, baked potatoes with skin, brown rice, avocado, dried apricots, bananas oatmeal and bran cereals, chocolate and cocoa powder are some of the things on the list. Of course nuts are also on the list. Hope this gives you a few choices you like.

I just found out the YoPlait light yogurt I use has 29.3% of DMR for magnesium.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Try avocados. I recently had this problem and drank a smoothie everyday with avocados in it and I sure did bring my magnesium count up. Mine was low enough that when in the hospital they had to give to my by IV. That and my sodium level was so low. I now only need to use them off an on and I am maintaining a good level.

I am coming up short on this even with the senior multi vitamin. I do not like to ear a lot of nuts and seeds.
