None of us were born knowing this stuff. I'm always more than happy to pass along any help I can to anyone, new or old to the game, and never shy away from asking anyone stopped on the roadside if they're okay or need any help.

Always feel free to come here and ask anyone anything - literally. If you feel it's a little too personal, just PM someone.

Ride safe! And welcome aboard.

I just want to say that since getting involved with cycling, I am amazed time and time again about the great people involved. I've gotten such great advice and support from members here and irl. I attended a fix-a-flat class at the LBS this morning and the owner even made some other adjustments to my bike along with offering some great tips. Even last week when I answered an ad on craigslist for a bike rack, the guy was very helpful in general when he found out I was a newbie. And btw, Bill, I got a camel pack for water and it's awesome!!! Every time I come to this page, I learn more from reading all the message board posts. I'm sending out a big thank you to all of you who take the time to answer questions, give advice and post great links to more information. It's been very helpful.
