My ticker is not accurate. I've had quite a bit of regain, but I have high morale and am making serious steps to correcting the problem.

I was 141.2 on 5/29, and have been close to that number since. I plan to leave the 140s soon and for good! This is the thinnest I have been since high school!

Walking can be great exercise, especially with an able partner! I'm a big fan of the elliptical, which should count as low-impact. You could consider swimming or underwater jogging. Some places even have aqua zumba classes. I bet pilates will help with the pain since it strengthens the core muscles. I know that's a big bummer. It limits you and forces you to think creatively. Keep us updated on your progress.

In another note......

Back to walking and soon to pilates.

doctor told me absolutely no more high impact exercise because it will continue affecting my already protruded herniated discs (cervical - neck and lumbar - lower back). I saw the pictures of the latest MRI and it got worst, first no wonder the increase in pain I am having lately and in my left leg and left shoulder and it does not look anything good, I broke in tears at the doc office.

My mood and happiness went from 10 to 2-3 and spent all day Monday sad and watery eyes. It is hard when you want to make changes in your life and your workout schedule and this happens and now have to make a 360 degree change and slow down and look for other alternatives.

Oh. Chica, I think we all backslide from time to time. I'm in awe that you've maintained 105-100 so successfully so far. I try to do the math as to how many calories that would allow me at my height (5' 3"), and I'm really impressed with all you've done so far.

Take it slowly, track your food, and we're here for you! You know, you could also track your weight as -0.8, -1.2, and so on until the number looks friendlier!

I stop posting my weight! It has dramatically increased to the point that at this point I feel uncomfortable. The pain, bothersome do to the herniated disc, the painkillers to ease the pain, the lack of exercise and eating lots of chocolate during this process has not been easy.

Looking forward to start "all over" again this time in small stages and increase little by little until I feel "healthy" and back to reality again!
