Tuesday: Well had a nanosecond of sun yesterday, but at least though it was cloudy otherwise, we didnít have precipitation.

Got the bedroom deep cleaned! Happy about that.

Have a terrific Tuesday.

Hugs, blessings and stay safe and well.

Today finally looks nice, well it will be, it was chilly this morning, but might be 50 by midafternoon, so I'm planning on a 4-5 mile run around 3pm. Being able to just get up and run is my favorite part of working from home. All I wear is running clothes anyway!

I still have a slight cough, but I generally feel like a pretty healthy, functional human being again, so that's good. Got up on the early side this morning just naturally. Haven't done that in a few weeks except by way of coughing!

Alright, getting some work done, and planning on some actual laundry today as well!

Monday: Rainy, thunderstormy yesterday. UGH. But hoping today is a little more settled.

That was short lived. Clara has been having dizzy spells. Told her she needs to NOT work 16 hr shifts Ė 8 Ė maybe 10 max and REST. To me, it sounds like sheís dehydrated. She has her water bottle there. Told her to keep it with her. So frustrated, cannot bring her anything. Just makes me upset. I understand, but it still makes me upset.

Got everything wiped down. The new ritual!

HUGS and stay well, stay safe.

Melissa: Good luck getting your lessons together!

HOPE the rain stops. It rained here all day yesterday, too, and Miss Lilly wasn't impressed either.

All we have now is rain! Rain yesterday and rain today, which is too bad, because I want to go running, and I could run in the rain, but I'd rather not. Fortunately, the rest of the week looks better and warmer too. The pups don't like the rain either!

Week two online starts today! I have to get moving on making some of my online materials and such for the next week or so so I can be ahead of the game. Hoping more of my students find their way online to chat with me.

Friday: Well, itís Friday. Just staying home and staying safe. PLENTY to do here at home. Got the kitchen well cleaned. Now moving on.

Clara is doing all right. Her day job is @ a local bank. That branch has now closed. Definitely not good (she hasnít been there, obviously, since the lock down in the nursing home on the 21st.) So, remains to be seen what is going to happen. I am sure once this passes, it will re-open. Just a matter of time. 2 more cases in our county, so up to 22.

Hope itís a peaceful Friday for everyone.

Hugs and blessings. Stay safe, stay well.

Glad Clara is remaining on the healthier side!

I went for a run yesterday in capris and no jacket because it was almost 60! Woohoo. Temps are meant to stay up, but looks like we're moving into rainy for the next week. At least I can keep an eye on the clouds and try to fit runs inbetween.

My pug's new spot is hanging out beneath my chair in my home office set-up. Not sure what he's going to do when I eventually get back to work!

Thursday: And the beat goes on. Clara told us last night a resident passed away. Oh other info, though. She hadnít taken care of that patient, so thatís good. Sheís feeling better. Even better news.

She called again this morning and sheís doing well, but really tired. Working 12-14 hr. shifts. But sheís able to rest. Feels much better.

HUGS and blessings.

Melissa: Glad that things are getting organized for you. I do much better w/structure, too.

Stay well, stay safe.

Today I actually have a fairly "busy" day! I am video-conferencing with upcoming speakers for church so we can sort out the online details, I have a video-conference meeting through school, and I'm planning on having open office hours for my students! I might also try and get a run in before it rains. I do far better with structure, so I like this.

I have to make myself a good to-do list of things to get online for my students. I have to think about two weeks ahead of them, so they are currently sorted through 4/6, so I gotta get moving!

Wednesday: Well, fortunately Clara just has a cold, but now as of last night, they are testing everyone for Corona. She says there are no cases, so a little confused about why theyíre doing that, but weíll find out.

Just puttering around here today.

Hugs and have a wonderful Wednesday and be well.

Melissa: Glad you're getting your voice back! Good luck making the video!

Yeah, the snow is practically gone already, at least it's off the roads and most of the sidewalks. I went for a run yesterday afternoon and mostly managed to not get my feet wet.

I am finally getting my voice back and may actually put together a video for my students today.

At some point in the next few days I'll have to venture to grocery store again, but we're enjoying our self-isolation otherwise.

Tuesday: Clara called yesterday afternoon. Sheís sick. She was examined and she ended up having a cold, so thatís a huge relief.

The WI governor issued a Ďsafer @ homeí order (same as shelter in place that other states are invoking). That really wonít change what Jas and I have been doing. But I imagine there are plenty who are going to be out there panic shopping.

So thatís yesterday. Heaven knows what today holds!

Stay well, stay safe. Hugs and blessings. Prayers

Melissa: OH my . . . 4-5 in. of snow. But bet it wonít hang around long.

Yes, thatís the truth. . . house clean and nobody to admire it (except US)!

So the bonus to stay at home is that I see no reason to shovel anything or clean off my cars, even though we got about 4-5 inches of snow all total yesterday. I walked over to Walgreens this morning to grab something to thin the mucus in my throat and get my voice back!

The snow will be gone soon, it's supposed to be 50 and rainy on Thursday! Although I may have to go out before that for dog food, but I could get by with the grocery store that's 5 minutes walking from my house.

We have been trying to spend some time each day cleaning and decluttering things. A friend of mine posted on Facebook that this is the nicest her house will look and no one can come see it, and I feel about the same!

Ok, let's go see which of my students signed in yesterday and which didn't.

Monday: Quiet day yesterday and thatís fine. Have meals prepped for the week. Thatís a good feeling.

Today have to do some decluttering in my office. That will feel good.

John was officially laid off today. **SIGH** Now he will have to apply for unemployment insurance.

Clara called a little earlier in the afternoon. Sheís sick. Being checked. No word back yet. DAMN!

Today is the first official day of online classes! I'm hoping that my students can figure it all out and have internet connections, etc. It's going to be a little bit crazy I'm sure.

Also, it's snowing. I took the dogs out and they acted like they had never seen snow before, the pug was driving me crazy trying to sniff everything.

Okay, off to do my best to maintain a functional work-at-home schedule!

Has another nice Zoom service with church today, except I have a bit of laryngitis from the cold earlier this week, so I couldn't sing, but I provided some good music via videos. It's nice to chat with everyone online.

Went out for a run (although we mostly walked) yesterday with a few friends. We keep our distance! Also feels good to get outside, although it might snow tomorrow, ick. Looks better after that though.

Just picked up an order from my meat person yesterday including lamb kidneys, which I've never had before. I'm excited to try something new while I have time from home!

Friday: 2 deaths in our county from the virus. **SIGH** Just sad. The gentleman was 90, though, so obviously overwhelmed by the affects of the virus. The other casualty is a man in his 50ís. No details, but assuming there were underlying health issues. Sad.

It is infuriating. DD called this morning. Just got off her shift from the nursing home. They do not have masks nor gloves. GAH! Thatís just asking for trouble. We need to get these urgent supplies to the 1st responders and health care workers!

We are safe, however. Staying @ home. If the weather cooperates, maybe get a quick outdoor walk to get some sun, IF it comes out!

Itís Friday. Enjoy. Take care, everyone. Stay well.

Melissa: Glad that you're prepared! Just heard that news a little while ago. Stay safe, stay healthy.

I'm in NY, and we are essentially shutting down the whole state starting Sunday. I'm good. I'm working from home, doing classes online, and just ordered a whole bunch of meat from my favorite local farm that I will pickup tomorrow.

I need to make myself a good work plan though, because I tend to get off track when I'm not ona schedule!

Thursday: Unfortunately, yesterday was not a good day. Johnís hours were cut and Clara is off for 14 days from the bank now (w/o pay) as she works @ the nursing home, too. Sheís probably safer, @ this point, working @ the nursing home. She and all the other eeís get checked out before entering the building. So, weíll see how this all pans out. I know there are a BOATLOAD of people in this situation, as well. **SIGH**

1st case of the virus found in our county. Thatís frightening. 90 cases in WI statewide.

Prayers and more prayers.

Hugs and have a healthy Thursday.

It's nice and sunny here, and the dogs have been having nice walks. I'd like to be out running more but I have just a bit of a cold (I promise, it is definitely a cold!), so I've been a bit more chill, though I may go out today, because it supposed to be nearly 50 degrees by afternoon!

I'm trying to set up some zoom chats for people in my church and school so we can all stay in touch while at home, and I'm thinking out doing some Facebook and Youtube live stuff to entertain folks. It's fun!

Hello hello!

I was on spring break last week, and trying to actually semi-take it easy, and then all hell broke loose!

So, I'm now moving to online instruction and working from home, and my husband's work just cancelled everything (with pay thank goodness!). On the other hand, I'll be able to update on here far more often, thank goodness for my online communities!

Also, I will have lots of time for running. I'm really excited about running.

Hope y'all out there are doing well!

2 cases of COVID-10 now in Osceola (WI/MN border). Schools closed there. 2 suspected cases @ U of WI Milwaukee. Self-quarantined on campus. Theyíre going to extend the spring break by one week and looking @ putting classes on line.

It is going to be an at-home day. On the go yesterday. Bot Miss Lilly groomed, got Johnís cats dropped off for neutering and then back to pick them up. Meanwhile John found a new car (his car needed major repairs and just wasnít worth putting the $$$ for repair into. The mechanic bought it from him. So all good.)

Hugs and have a good Tuesday.

Monday: Glad we got to have supper together w/John and family. We picked him up for work as his car is on the fritz. That was unfortunate but we enjoyed the time together. Today taking Johnís kittens (Simba and Biscuit) to the vet for their neutering surgery. Poor kitties.

Miss Lilly gets a grooming today. Sheís not looking forward to it, but has to be done! LOL Sheíll feel better all trimmed up and her nails cut.

HUGS and have a wonderful Monday!

Melissa: Glad you had a successful week. Wow! 18 miles. Thatís fantastic. And glad that you enjoyed your meat last week. I am not a huge meat eater, but I do enjoy it. Cheese, would find it difficult to give that up, too.

HUGS and hereís to a good week.

Whew, I had a busy end to my week! My major self report was due Friday by 4:30, I got it in by 3:55! I ran 18 miles yesterday morning for our local Heart Run, which is my longest ever official run. It was great, although my calves are killing me. Today was the kickoff to our yearly pledge drive in church, which is always a lot, and I lead hymns so Iím super involved, then there was a potluck.

I enjoyed my meat eating last week, although it does get boring, but Iím still keeping my veggies at least minimal this week. Yesterday was the first time Iíve had dairy in a week, so far so good. Iíd hate to give up my cheese for good. Iíll take cheese over broccoli and onions for sure!

Sunday: What a gorgeous day yesterday. Sun and even though it was cold, it was beautiful.

Hoping that John, Karleigh, and Ry make it today.

Clara has to work. Feel sorry for her. She needs a minor outpatient procedure and is very worried about it. I certainly understand that. Trying to calm her down. She has to see a specialist and go from there. Poor kid.

HUGS and blessings on your Sunday.

Saturday: Out to breakfast. Several of the friend we meet for breakfast are parameds and say theyíre on alert for the Covid=190. Nobody around here, though. It is in Milwaukee apparently. So just doing lots of handwashing and avoiding crowds.

Supposed to get up to 50 today, and hope it does. Tomorrow, too.

Enjoy your Saturday.

HUGS

Thursday: John and Karleigh stopped by briefly today. Looked good . . . . none the worse for the wear (she had the flu).

Had some chores to do and cleaned a little in the yard where it wasnít too wet. That was fun!

Heading to the audiologist in a bit. Sure all will go well.

Hugs and happy Friday Jr.

Melissa: Agreed! Pavement beats snow and ice any day!

I find w/the cruciferous veggies I can manage them in small amounts! Good luck.

My doggos are definitely enjoying having sidewalk and not ice and snow under their feet again, especially my tiny chihuahua, and so am I!

My morning lab class almost all had their homework done today!! So exciting. My students are usually only about 50/50 on lab homework. Learning about eyes and reflexes today, one of my favs!

I'm currently playing around with eating carnivore-style this week, only meat and a few eggs and a bit of cheese. Three days in, and I actually am enjoying it. I feel pretty good. I will add some other foods in next week slowly because I'm trying to see what my body reacts to, I think I'm having trouble with some cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower specifically) and possibly peppers.

Wednesday: Mid-week! Wow. The week is going by so quickly! No big plans for today. Just doing laundry and doing some cleaning. Hopefully this weekend is going to be suitable for yard work and clean up!

HUGS and have a wonderful Wednesday.

Melissa: Wow! You had a busy time! Enjoying spring finally trying to get sprung here! Most of the snow is melted. Wahoo! Miss Lilly is ever-so-happy as she can take her time smelling the ground again as she walks, instead of snuffling in the snow piles!

HUGS

Happy March! Spent the end of Feb at a convention in Boston with 18 students from my gaming club. We had lots of fun, but it was crazy tiring. At least I did a lot of walking around! Glad to be back and next week is spring break - woot! I need the catch up time.
