Goal #2: Complete 3 week beginner yoga program. I have done day 1 & 2, but not enough hours in the day on day 3 and was not able to do it. I will do it today. Home it doesn't take me a year to complete a 3 week program. lol.

Goal #1 (beginning January 1, 2017): Lose 10lbs.

Weighed myself this morning and lost 2 lbs. YAY!!!!!!

Speaking to a member yesterday, she is setting her weight loss goal by 10lb increments. I think that is such a great idea!!!! I am going to do that also. So, my first goal will be to lose 10lbs. Yay!

A motivational speaker I listened to said that we respond better to visuals and suggested that you write down your goal and the list of what to do to reach that goal. As you complete an item, cross it off the list. So, I made my list this morning and ready to start crossing off!!!

How to Set a Goal

First consider what you want to achieve, and then commit to it. Set SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound) goals that motivate you and write them down to make them feel tangible. Then plan the steps you must take to realize your goal, and cross off each one as you work through them.
