Hey Barb, I can definitely relate - whenever I start to gain ground, I always seem to hit a roadblock and get derailed for a long, long time. I've been off track for a few months myself now, but the important thing is always getting the ball rolling again. Can you let us know if you've taken that step yet to try out the gym? PF is actually very non-judgmental and non-threatening, at least that's been my experience. How about trying to go for just 20 minutes sometime this month? I've been way too sedentary lately - even my cat has been yelling at me because I haven't been playing with her as much! So I'm going to make sure I get a 10-minute walk in at least once this week. I will stop making excuses like "I'm too tired" or "my foot hurts" or "the weather is too ____". I will get this ball rolling again, and I'm throwing you the gauntlet, too! Let's check in again soon - we can do it!! :-)

I always plan to go to the gym after work, but when I work late I tell myself that it is too late, I'm too tired and I am hungry and therefore I do not need to go to the gym. The next morning when my pants are still too tight, I tell myself that those reasons were just excuses and today will be different; but, so far, it has not been different. Same excuse everyday since the 17th and it is still working. Ugh.

Happy Monday!
