Phillip Margolin "Wild Justice" Pretty gory so far. Also received my Harlequin books and 3 of the first five Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter Series. Put 10 more paranormal books on hold at the library, Charlaine Harris and more of Kenyon's. Also bought two used books at .50 cents each. TBR is growing by leaps and bounds.

Also reading Susan Elizabeth Phillips, "Nobody's Baby But Mine." Strange book to me and it was recommended by a young lady in Barnes and Noble. It makes me think she may be wanting to have a baby and scoping out a sperm donor.

Just went to the library to pick up the last J A Jance book and reading Taking the Fifth. Also picked up two books in the new book section to put in my TBR pile, Charlene Harris, "From Dead to Worse" and Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Bad Moon Rising" Still have two more J A Jance books in the TBR stack but trying to read them in the order they were written. No more books on order, have to decide what I want to read next.

Currently working on a few textbooks that will take me all year to read with my sophmore so that is eating up a lot of my reading time. :( Right now I'm trying to read:

A Separate Peace by John Knowles (with the sophmore)
Robinson Crusoe by Defoe (with my 8 & 11yr olds)
Pride & Prejudice & Zombies by Austen and ???
A Fistful of Charms by Kim Harrison
Midnight by Dean Koontz

Really hoping to have at least A Separate Peace done by next week and hopefully A Fistful of Charms done too. We'll see tho.

Hi all!! I am in the middle of "The Duchess" by Jude Deveraux. I started way back in May and started from the beginning of the family tree of this storyline. I was gun ho for the longest time, now its just bits and pieces of time I find to read a page or two. I'm a newbie to the group and to about 2.5 weeks into SP. I am really excited to be here.

We are constantly creating our "karma" or destiny through our intentions, thoughts and deeds in this moment. It is achieved through countless deliberate acts of selflessness.

It's hard to be happy with others if we are not happy with ourselves.

Hi! I'm new to this team. I just finished reading Orson Scott Card's "Children of the Mind" (#4 in the Ender's Game series). I am now finishing up John Twelvehawk's Dark River (#2 in the Traveler series) and am waiting impatiently for tomorrow when the final #3 is released. I tend to have at least two books going at a time - LOL!

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It is extremely Artsy in it wanderings. I might like it at another time but right now I quit. I like the topic but it seems to wander too much for my taste.

I then began What would Jesus Eat? by Dr. Don Colbert. Very interesting. Pretty much what Spark is suggesting so far. I like what I have read.

Finished "Lone Star Cinderella" by Debra Clopton today and started Diann Hunt's "Hometown Courtship", another Harlequin Love Inspired Series book. Will finish that one tomorrow and start another...not sure which one yet, will be whichever one I pull out of the book box in my bedroom. lol.

I just started to read "Sweet Trouble" by Susan Mallory, I'm finding it witty and poignant, I tempted to go back on the coach and read it for the rest of the night but I can't, I have to do my quickfire challenge, cook dinner have a bath, then I can read. emoticon
