OMG! And you own a bakery! I am impressed. Not for right now. I just started on a plan and I want to see where this takes me. Maybe down the road.

Thank you for encouraging me. chris emoticon

I have to be diligent about caring for myself. 100 DAYS OF WEIGHT LOSS is a great way for me to keep focused. Day 1 is July 1, 2017. Build habits to produce success. Most of these habits I have at least tried before but did not sustain. First habit: delay eating by using a timer.

if you decide to try, we have a very active keto team here on sparkpeople. its called Team Keto! you can find it on my page and click on it. we do pretty strict keto, but trust me as much as you think you might be deprived this is the least deprived way of eating i've ever seen.
i never thought i could do it. i own a bakery for goodness sake. but i did it..i do it...i'm keto for life now. nothing beats feeling better....and i mess around with recipes and i can have almost anything just have to modify it to fall into keto guidelines.

Fatigue is my middle name. emoticon I am trying something new. I asked a psychiatrist if reducing my depression meds would give me more energy. He said not to do that. But he did prescribe Provigil. It is supposed to keep me awake more in the daytime so I sleep at night. I was falling asleep every afternoon and that messed up my nights. We'll see if this new medicine helps. I have been on it about 3 weeks. I am napping less. I still can't fall asleep till 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. But then I sleep really hard.

But still any little thing makes me fatigued. Once in awhile I have energy to do chores or even enjoy a short trip shopping. But life is pretty boring.

Hi Dee—have to tell you—keto really helped me. No hunger or cravings..if you do it strictly. Saved my life..if you want info let me know. There is nothing to buy but your regular food. It’s a miracle for me..

CFS is one of my many diagnoses - for 20 years or more now.
Not going to name everything I've tried & done to help - but didn't or didn't for long.
But - by trial & error I am finding that cutting down the grains & sugar (like 'regular' sugar - the granulated white kind) really do help me have more energy. It's just SO HARD to stay away from!

Everything can be offered up as a sacrifice. All of this. It can, it will, in the long run benefit not only me, but my family as well. It's a worth-while sacrifice no matter how long it takes. I must look for His glory in all of this.

I don’t much like it, but I can walk again, my blood work is perfect, and my pain and fatigue are so much better I figure it’s a good trade off (not to mention the 142 pounds I lost!)
Hope you can get some relief soon!

Thanks! I have heard many people that lie the Keto. I personally do not.. for several reasons. But thanks for the heads up and good luck with your diet.

Hi Mrs Fix and WELCOME! I have to tell you I started keto in october of 2016 and many of my symptoms have lessened or resolved. We have many on my keto pages who have CFS and found getting rid of all sugar and grains really helped...

Hi Team!

I am new here- been apart of SP off and on since 2007. I have CFS and find it to be getting worse as I get older. After my girls were born, my youngest is 4.5, it increased with gusto. I assume due to sleep deprivation, hormonal swings and not having enough time to care for myself. Checking in to see if there are others out there like myself and trying to find a support network to keep myself going and *motivated* as much as I can be feeling sluggish so often.

Everything can be offered up as a sacrifice. All of this. It can, it will, in the long run benefit not only me, but my family as well. It's a worth-while sacrifice no matter how long it takes. I must look for His glory in all of this.
