Hi friends

I have been working on getting in a pull up These are tough. I can do 1. So now trying to get 2 ...and so on. I have also added barbell squats over the last few months. I am not squatting a huge amount of weight...45 pounds as of now...for me it's just right...slowly increase as I go :)

I know dropping some weight would really help me here. My eats have been my weak link for a few months . I am going to set a goal of losing a pound a week over the next 10 weeks . I will journal my eats and get back on track.

So aiming for November 19...and -10 less. By then I am aiming for 3 pull ups and squatting 50 pounds :)

My goals and weekly planning have changed a lot since my last post.

During my holiday, my country has gone through a huge heat wave, which pretty much killed my exercise schedule, so I put myself on a different schedule to at least maintain my weight during my holiday. I still ended up losing weight and I hit a healthy BMI during the last week of my holiday.

Now that my holiday is over, the heatwave is also gone, as if it knew!

I am going to work on building muscle and maintaining my weight, which means that I am cutting my cardio time in half, I still want to lose a bit of weight but it doesn't have to go at a rate of two pounds per week at this point.

I am going to use these next few weeks to really figure out how I can reach this goal in the best way for me, as maintaining can be harder than losing weight, losing weight is "easy": eat less, work out more. but maintaining weight requires a good balance of what I eat and how much I work out.

Haha, I'm also on a self-made exercise schedule.

Day 1: Cardio: Running
Day 2: Strength training
Day 3: Cardio: Bike riding
Day 4: Strength training
Day 5: Cardio: Bike riding
Day 6: Strength training
Day 7: None.

I started with the whole weekend off, but I actually find myself squeezing in a workout on both weekend days, to the point where I turned saturday into a normal workout day. :)

I also do some cardio on the strength training days,
but less intense compared to the 'cardio days'.

My goal is to fit in to a size 6 jeans. I started in size 20 and am now down to 8s and 10s. I am doing the weight Watchers program and my owen exercise program of cardio 6 days a week and strength train 3 days a week. I ride my exercise bike most every day and take 30 minute walks also most every day. I have started taking Sunday off but still find myself taking a stroll with my hubby.
