Welcome to the challenge! Hopefully you'll learn a lot from this challenge, both for yourself and for your family. Good luck!

While I do not have diabetes, several of my family members on my Dad's side of the family (my own Dad has Type II) have diabetes. I want to do whatever I can to avoid Type II at all expense.

When I'm stressed out, I tend to much on chips, but can go for chocolate milk or Reeses Pieces (not only that). I would like to learn some habits and recipes to regain control of my diet, focusing on ways to eat with less sugar and carbs. This way, I can pass along some information to my Dad. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
