I saw my primary care doc today, we discussed the Spark Program for diabetes and weight loss, he liked what he saw, I'm about 70 pounds from my goal weight of 150, but he told me there is a good chance that when I hit my goal, I may be able to stop taking metformin. Another reason for me to do this!

I also started a program at the Y, designed for seniors, my first class was great, it is 3 times a week for 16 weeks. It is called Enhance Fitness. A combination of low impact aerobics, strength and stretching. the hour just flew by and I'm looking forward to the next class on Wednesday.
