1. How does Spark People help you?
Gives me a place to hold myself accountable with the food I'm eating. Helps me to be mindful of what I'm eating. Exercise videos are there when I'm ready to start doing them. I like to read the blogs, see what other people are doing and what they are feeling about their own health journeys.
2. What do you hope to accomplish by being here?
I want to be healthier than I've been the last few years.
3. What are your short term and long term goals?
My short term goals are to walk 5 days each week & to track my food each day. My longer term goal is to lose some weight (around 30 pounds), and to get into better shape.
4. What are your reasons for wanting to lose weight?
I'm not comfortable in my body. I want to feel healthy. And the extra weight I'm carrying makes me feel tired.
5. What motivates you to keep going?
One too many photos of myself where I don't look like myself. And on a less shallow note...exercising most days helps me feel more energetic and eating better is making me feel better!

Lose 90 pounds, Quit pop, Feel better about myself, Meet some new friends!!

3. What are your short term and long term goals?

Short term goal, eat better, exercise more. Long term, 90 pounds lighter, No more pop

4. What are your reasons for wanting to lose weight?

Be healthier, Feel better about myself, Maybe have 1 more baby.

5. What motivates you to keep going

My kids, and Sparkpeople, Not feeling alone in this.

Feeling better, gaining strength and flexibility to accomplish activities of daily living

Short term goal, eat according to my plan and get my exercise in just for today. Long term, for all the days

Coming here inspires me when I don't "feel like it," and also, I just want to feel good. Sick and tired of being sick and tired ;)

My answers:

1. I like the accountability, friendships, and many articles and resources on here!
2. I would like to become a SP success story, inspire others, become a new person
3. Exercise 10 minutes every day, eat in moderation, eat more fruits and veggies
4. I want to look good in a swimsuit and learn how to dance.
5. My mother, my Spark friends, doing this for my health first and foremost
