There's just no winning with these apps, is there...

I have FITBIT and Polar HRM connected to Google FIT.

With both devices connected to SPARK, I get inaccurate data from both.
Since I'm on a treadmill, Google Fit does not record steps, but it does track miles.
It does track steps, but only when I carry the phone with me.

Fitbit records the steps and somewhat accurately, the miles.

At the end of the day, SPARK adds miles from both devices, which is about double what it should be.

The bottom line here is I need to edit the data to achieve accuracy, no matter what.

I'm better off logging what FITBIT records for steps and adding that to my Google FIT steps. At least the calories and miles are correct for my workout on the treadmill cause when I stop recording my heart rate on the POLAR APP, I get to just enter the miles based on the treadmill readout. It's a multistep process to get all the data collected, but at least it's loading (syncing) into SPARK.

Mine syncs to SP but it removed the option where I can add additional steps taken since my other fitness tracker doesn't sync to Google Fit. Their app says it does but I haven't seen it happen yet. So, for the past three weeks while I've been using Google Fit it appears as if I cut my walking in half. I don't always carry my phone with me when I'm out walking the dog. Sometimes, we just head out the door like this morning.

Mine logs in my tracker, but the distance does not count in my weekly total. Guess I will quit syncing it and enter it manually - then it counts in my Km weekly total.

When I initially connected GoogleFit to spark people it tracked my activity in SP fitness tracker along with my steps and calories burned but it doesn't track my activity in the fitness tracker anymore. I noticed last weekend that it stopped doing this.

Interesting, mine does post to my feed - when I can get it successfully synced, that is. Does anyone have any tips for getting the sync to work?

The minutes do show up in my fitness tracker, but they don't show up in my feed - which tells my Spark Friends about the activity I am doing. If I enter activities directly into the tracker, then those activities do show up in my feed, and I get "likes" from my friends to keep me motivated.

Apparently, I need to post this on the Tech Support message board, because this SparkTeam isn't monitored for technical issues.

I use both Google FIt and Spark Tracker and when I got to My Fitness it gives me both totals and also gives me walking minutes and Calories burned for exercise for each tracker. The Google fit App has a place to enter type of activity you are going to do when you press start. This will be entered at night on my fitness Page.

It doesn't show up in my activity feed, so I'm thinking no.

When the Google Fit app syncs with SP, is the activity supposed to show up in my feed? I'm getting the minutes and calories in SP, but the activity doesn't appear in my feed (which happens when I put in my activities directly into the SP fitness tracker).

Overall, I'm very happy with Google Fit, except that now I have to remember to have my phone with me all the time! No more leaving it on my desk at work! LOL
