It can be very difficult as a single parent, but we raise our children to be mature adults and we have to let them enjoy their lives as well. PTL they are able.

I agree...it just all takes it's natural course. As they grow they want their independence and we have to let them fly the nest! emoticon

Hi,
This week hubby's out of town with his job, so getting ready for his birthday weekend. Last night our high school senior got her report card, and made her Mom and Dad very proud, and our other daughter was jumping up and down as she got dean's list her first semester at college. where did our babies go? Tell me, how do Mom's let go when they grow up? We have loved them and nurtured them for 20 years, how does that transition work? :) I'm kind of thankful our little adopted one is young, I may never get to have an empty nest, just transition right into grandkids :)
