Janet - sounds like a good day for you, I hear you n criminal minds - it is one of those shows that if you don't pay attention you will something.

What a week - I am exhausted. The drive to Pittsburgh was great - sun was out beautiful blue skies. But that 3 hour drive, 4 hours in the Drs office and 3 hours back home wears me out. Ugh - I feel like someone ran me over with a mac truck. And hubby likes me to be in there with him. So i can;t even walk in the hospital to get all stretched out. But everything went well - they worked on his ear yesterday - he had a lot of cancer on it and on his right hand. Now we don't have to go back for 2 more weeks - Thank God!.

Today I am meeting with the girl buying the house to sign papers at lunch time and then meeting with people buying things after work. Maybe I will sneak in a soak int he tub tonight as well. I sure need one.

Before we left yesterday I got all of hubby's things into the attic - he is making a big closet up there for his stuff - or so he says - so I am ready to bring more stuff over.

Dorothy~Nice that the big items are selling quickly! emoticon

Bible study was nice this morning and I am definitely going to have to get my head around using colored pencils to mark different passages of scriptures. I think I will use a different Bible than my usual one as I already have some markings in that one. Have to decide.

This afternoon I did get documents as hoped for paid work so I got two plans submitted and another one is very close. I worked slowly as I watched Criminal Minds at the same time. It's not as easy to just listen too as other things. I did make a couple calls, but just wasn't in the mood to be on the phone all afternoon. Putting it off for first tasks tomorrow.

Tonight is going to be a quiet, lazy one as Maegann had a drop last night from the anxiety of the day (long story). One nice thing that has come out of the past few days is that she and Tayler are friends again. He is nice young man and he values our "parental" advice and we've told him to take it very slow and be friends. They both have so much going on they don't need to assume they can just start where they left off. Too much has happened for both of them as individuals. Regardless, we all need a game-night free evening.

Janet - sounds like another good day.

Phone calls - ugh - good luck.

Appointment went well - if I don't hear back from them I will know everything is ok. Hubby wanted hot dogs and hamburgs with the works - the one place I went to was closed so I had to change my route home to go get them for him. I also got rid of lots of recycling while I was there. So a good trip over all.

I also posted the stove, microwave, and dishwasher for sale before I left that I had pulled out of this house when I updated. I had the stove and microwave sold by the time I got home. Posted a captains bed and coffee table with end tables. As well The captains table was gone last night and someone is coming to get the coffee and end tables tomorrow. Yea!!
Oh and I also sold my stove that is in the other house. Hubby has to disconnect it for me so I can get it pulled out and wiped down - that should also be gone by tomorrow as well

Dorothy~Sounds like you are going to be busy tomorrow.

My morning was spent running some errands with Maegann. Got home around 1:30 and got busy on paid work. Tonight I made tacos for supper and then we had a repeat game night. Guess who won....

Now Tim and I are watching a movie called "Super 8" and it's okay. Like how the action/sci fi have humor which is helping keep the interest.

Tomorrow morning is the first day of our new study of Ecclesiastes and then I will check and see if documents are back on 2-3 plans as I can get them submitted and then it's a no paid work day. I have a lot of phone calls that need made for family stuff.

Khol - my daughter just posted something on facebook that she used on her daughters hand for eczema. I will have to look it up for you.

Hahaha - just made myself laugh as that is what the two of you were just talking about. I had grand children when Michael was only 5 years old. I was such a young mother and than such an old mother. Too funny.

Janet - glad to hear that you had such a fun evening - a good day all around,

My cat Belle is not enjoying all the commotion in the house. She is use to just being her and I - lol! 2 cranky older women. We will adjust. It will be an adjustment for all of us - all use to our own routines.

Had to run to the store last night to pick up hubbys prescriptions and some pop - he is big pop drinker - me hardly at all,. Its hard to keep anything in the house that I like to drink because he guzzles everything, Then home for a short time before I headed out to Tai Chi. Today I leave work early for my yearly urologist appointment and tomorrow hubby and I head back to Pittsburgh for his Dr appointment,.

Sounds like a productive moving day Dorothy!

Kohl~Glad you got D15's rash taken care of today. How are all of you feeling?

I had a full day of cleaning and paid work and then tonight was an impromptu game night that was so much fun. Maegann and I got to laughing so hard at one point we couldn't breathe.

Janet — Seems like all the women I know at church are divorced grandmothers or are ten years older and happily married with lots of grandchildren. I get what you are saying. I'm used to this though because most homeschooling families I have known have either children that are the age of my olders or age of my youngers both not both. So I'm in my own little category.

Dorothy — That's sure a lot of moving done! You had some great helpers.

Took D15 to the doctor today about a rash on her arm. Turns out it is eczema. Makes sense since she has allergies and those two often go hand and hand. Nice to know she's not contagious.

Khol - hope you and the family are feeling better. Nice that hubby picked up pizza for dinner.

Janet - glad you enjoyed the outing with other parents. It is funny how different everyone's lifes are in the same age group.

We got 2 couches, 4 mattress sets, a bed frame, table and chairs, 2 dressers and a few other things all taken to the cabin yesterday - some we burned and some are being used. So glad to get that much out of the house . Still have 3 more dressers to get down the stairs but that is about all there is other than just stuff now,. And there is a lot of stuff - yikes!

Dorothy~Sounds like you have a great work party scheduled today! emoticon

Kohl~I am glad all of you seem to be feeling a little bit better. Keep resting together! That is nice that someone from church noticed you were missing.

Supper was nice last night, but we are definitely in an odd spot as we are the right age group, but life stage is completely different. They are all retired with grandchildren and doing lots of traveling where we are still raising teenagers and working. Was still very nice getting to know each other and we've agreed to get together again the first part of April at the other couples place next. We'll have them at our place after that one.

Tonight we are going to a meeting at church regarding a church plant and honestly if they do choose a Caldwell location over Meridian Tim and I might be willing to sign on to help as they will be asking for some to at least temporarily help get things going. Could be the thing we are needing for connection and worship. Definitely will be a point of prayer for sure.

This afternoon I tried again to get Isaac online for the Zoology class without luck so I sent a note to his school counselor too so she would know what was happening. We then went through the class listing to sketch out his requests for next year. Time for that already.

Maegann is off for another sleepover at Kim's, but she did do some more organizing in her room before she left.

Now it's Criminal Minds while Sparking. Laptop screen is split!

Dorothy - I hope you are having a warmer sunny day! Our snow is melting off.

Janet - It's nice to make friends at church and would be nice to do as a couple. My husband likes the brunch after church every Sunday but I never see him because he makes his rounds. Sometimes I wish he would talk to me but I've stuck my neck out a bit because I sit alone and have talked to several women. Today (I stayed at home with the flu) my husband came home saying apparently I've made a friend because one of these gals asked about me and told him she really enjoys taking with me. Nice to know when you are missed!

Although you never want the flu to hit your home when it does the aspect of comradery that we are all in this together is a nice one. When it hit me I knew no one was going to take care of me and that I would still be taking care of others. I have not cooked since Thursday but my husband knew to pick up pizzas on his way home from work on Friday so he's good. Girls and I have enjoyed rice made in the steamer and canned soup. My youngest has been running a temperature since Thursday but it is finally low grade today. Always get worried when it spikes above 104...so glad that is behind us. Time for a nap.

Janet - I hope you enjoyed your supper with the other couples. Sounds nice. I use to love church pot lucks when I was growing up.

My SIL is a peach - he brought a buddy and they headed to the cabin to clean it out for me and spent the night up there. They will be down today to start hauling stuff up there. Don't know what I would do without him - my daughter married a good one. My other daughter and her boyfriend and are coming down today as well to help move stuff.

Yesterday weather was crazy and I think the worst part was that the wind just kept whipping everything all around.

Dorothy~At least it was light and fluffy so it will melt off quicker and be easier to shovel. Hope you can get that moving done tomorrow.

Will be getting ready in about an hour to head out for supper with some other church people who are 55+. We really need connections/friends in this church and it's been difficult with the size and having three hours that don't intersect except with special events. I'm glad Tim was home and we could participate. Nice that it's only with 4 other people so we can break into it all slowly.

Otherwise this day has been extremely quiet and I've done mostly personal stuff like watching Hallmark movies and Sparking. LOL

Busy day so far - stripped my bed and washed the sheets and made the bed - made the spare/Mikes bed. My SIL is on his way down - he is going to try to dig out the cabin for me so we can haul stuff up there tomorrow. Should be able to get rid of a lot of stuff, and then I can start selling stuff, and getting other stuff moved over here. Busy Busy! Also worked in the basement - got 2 more walls painted. And I shoveled this morning before I did any of that. I think we got about 6 inches but it was light and fluffy. Ugh - I am tired!

Janet - glad you had another productive day - makes you feel so good.

Hopefully you can still do some moving tomorrow Dorothy.

I had another productive day at home and enjoyed it very much. We will plan on taking Tim out for his birthday on Sunday as it won't happen today and tomorrow night we are going to our first event for 55+ at church. It's a "dinner for 6" and I was asked to provide a salad. Trying to find ways to meet people and get involved. It's difficult in such a huge church with 3 services that don't really intersect.

Janet - we go back next Wednesday so should know more.

19 here right now - not liking it. I am going to go out and clean off the walks but I really do not think we got much - the wind has been frightful but I think it has finally died down. We are still under a winter weather advisory until tomorrow. I think the areas around us have gotten the snow.

Glad to hear that you were able to get a lot accomplished,.

Janet - emoticon to Maegann - how very exciting to being ready for the new chapter in her life.

So glad to hear that Isaac is doing well in track so far as well,.

So I was able to get us into Pittsburgh yesterday. They took cancer off of his face and his hands. We have to go back next Wednesday. The cancer on his face spreads if left untreated. The cancer on his hands is life threatening - good grief. His Dr here is making me even more angry. He has been complaining about his hands fr a year now,.

The drive down was foggy and the drive back it poured the whole way. But we made it and there is snow on the ground this morning but so far not enough to bother with shoveling. But I am sure it is all ice underneath since it rained all day yesterday.

I had just dropped my van off for an oil change and a tire rotate when I was able to get him into Pittsburgh so I had to call them back and tell them I needed my van back. So - dropping it off this morning.

So that is my crazy last 24 hours.

Dorothy~Hopefully the weather will be cooperative for the moving needs.

My big events of the day was ladies Bible study and Maegann's "clap-out" from school. Tonight Tim and I are watching a movie and will switch to Survivor once it is done recording. Better with fast-forwarding on the commercials.

Maegann headed to Kim's for the night (they are celebrating their graduations 2 days apart) and the plan was Applebee's for supper and then board games until the wee hours of the morning.

Isaac has gone to track practice 3 days out of 3 so far. He is planning to do the high jump as he believes that will help with his basketball jumping. I'm just happy seeing him try something out of his comfort zone!

Janet - they are not so rough - I am usually just tired. But had a nice quiet evening so that helped a lot.

Totally quiet evening last night - much needed. Sorted through a basket of stuff - made 3 piles - stuff I am keeping here - stuff for the cabin - and stuff to get rid of.

Glad to hear that Maegann will done so very soon. I am sure you are both happy that this chapter of her life is now over.

Right now we are under a wind advisory from 3 am Thursday to 1 am Friday and a winter weather advisory from 8 pm tonight until noon tomorrow. Sounds like tomorrows trip to Pittsburgh is going to be all kinds of fun, And that is just the beginning of all of the fun - I am pretty sure we are going to be under advisory's all weekend. Does not sound like a good weekend to be moving heavy stuff up to our cabin,. So frustrating. I will just have to push it back a week.

Sorry that Tuesday's are so rough for you Dorothy. Enjoy your evening!

I was thankful to be home today and got quite a bit of paid work handled along with some laundry and cleaning the kitchen. Tomorrow morning is ladies Bible study and then Maegann's "clap out" is now at 3pm as she had an extra 2 hours approved on her time to push it earlier. She is so excited to be done!

Janet - that is awesome - sounds like just what the Dr ordered. Those days are the best days.

Tai Chi was good last night - but Tuesdays are so rough for me. Michael never leaves early on Sunday and then class on Monday - at least I have a quiet evening tonight.

Raining here today and tomorrow and then snow on Thursday - ugh!

Dorothy~Foundation work is "fun". Good that you got it done so it's no longer on your list!

Kohl~Hope things are leveling out a bit for you. How is your D21?

I had a long day, but it was mostly all about me so I am not complaining. 90-minute massage followed by highlights in my hair (last time my daughter can do this at the school), followed by a 40 minute nap before driving to the next town for a client meeting. I enjoyed a caramel hot chocolate. Finally home for good about 6:30 tonight so I’m Sparking while watching a movie with the hubby. He also just started the fire so I’m now warming up too. A very good day!

Janet - isn't that what our loves are all about - being able to change course when things don;t work out as planned.

Worked on masonry work on my foundation on the inside yesterday,. for whatever reason the foundation going down the stairs to the basement really needed a lot of work. Most of the foundation looks pretty good but that area was pretty rough so I worked on filling in the gaps and then cleaned an area out getting it ready for my next area to paint. So glad I finally got it done - been wanting to do it it for so long - its just so hard on the hands. I should work on it a bit more.

Dorothy~Glad you are making good progress!

Today I chose to make the afternoon a rest day as the area I intended to work in is in chaos by my hubby the drywall maniac. Too much dust and mud to navigate. LOL Instead I worked in my Planner and now am enjoying "House Hunters" while Sparking. I have another jigsaw puzzle out that needs sorted so will probably do that today as well so that it is ready to go. I do have a load of laundry going as Isaac needs pants for the week.

Janet - glad you had a good day. Always makes you feel good.

WE got beds swapped out and one less bed across the street now to deal with. WE are getting there - next weekend we should be able to get a lot done with my son in law coming down to help. Now if only the weather cooperates - it looks like it is going to be really cold out. Also took time to make a trip to Sams yesterday and am stocked up for a while. Today I am working in the basement again.

Dorothy~Hope you got a lot accomplished today!

I had a very good day and was thankful for energy and motivation. It’s been awhile since I’ve felt that way and I put it to good use. Tomorrow afternoon I am hoping for more of the same and will dig into the containers and get that area of storage cleaned up.

Sounds like a nice birthday for Maegann. Also sounds like you did what needed to be done all day long - way to go.

My daughter is coming down sometime this weekend to switch out beds Not sure when - I will call her in a bit. Lots to do today though with or without her.

Hope you get lots accomplished this weekend with the moving plans.

I ignored my to-do list today and just focused on getting my paid work caught up, bank reports printed so I can get them balanced tomorrow and on my planner and Bible study. Tonight we took Maegann out for her birthday dinner and had a good time. Then Tim went with Maegann to see "Fantasy Island". I wanted to go, but Isaac does not do well in the theaters so I chose to be home this time. It was okay. I just turned on Say Yes to the Dress and Isaac played on his PS4.

Khol - I hoped you enjoyed the presentation - I think i would have enjoyed it.

Janet - I will head over to your blog to see what is going on.

Another quiet evening and I did weird stuff like changed out purses, sewed a button on my coat more securely, trimmed the roots system on one of my plants - just fussy weird stuff. So ready for the weekend - been a long week at work and ready for two days off to get lots done on getting Mike moved over here.

Dorothy~Glad you got a quiet evening.

Kohl~I wish I could attend that presentation. Isaac tells me he hears voices at times.

I played "mama bear" at Maegann's school this afternoon in regards to the Boards documentation. I put it all in my blog so won't repeat here. I got it done though!

Tonight Tim and I are watching "Let There Be Light" which has been a good "faith" movie. Another one like "God is Not Dead" where the existence of God is debated.

Janet — Happy Birthday to Maegann!
emoticon emoticon emoticon

Dorothy — Yesterday evening was a quiet one for me as well. Always nice when you can find a night to be a homebody.

Quiet day here inside and outside. The younger girls are working independently on homeschooling and the snow is falling gently. Think I'll take a nap after working through corrections with the girls right after lunch. This evening I am accompanying D21 to the Hearing Voices Network presentation. It's a support for people who hear voices, see visions, or have similar sensory experiences. Not sure what to expect but her counselor felt that it would be beneficial for both of us.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Janet - so sorry that you did not have the day you planned. Hopefully today things will go so much smoother. Happy 18th birthday to Maegann. emoticon I am sure she thinks that is quite grown up - I sure did when I was 18 - little did I know - LOL!

Stopped and saw my mom yesterday after work and then came home and had a quiet evening - I sure needed one - I was so tired.

Unfortunately I did not make Bible study. Ended up needing to do things for Maegann's medical piece of getting to sign up for State Boards. So much frustration with the school leaders right now as they are so unorganized and inconsistent with things. Makes my blood pressure rise again just thinking about it. Ugh!

Then Isaac came home in a mood and I'm trying to ignore him and/or be nice, but he's just treating me, and even the dogs, like dirt. And then when I'm the phone talking he comes up and just starts talking to me and gets mad when I take a second to ask him to wait his turn. "I knew you didn't care about me." and all it turns out he wanted to know is what time supper would be happening. Really? You know what time we have supper 98% of the time! Another Ugh!

Anyway, tomorrow I have a clear schedule so maybe I'm due for a calm day. It's also Maegann's 18th birthday and I feel horrible that we aren't doing anything to celebrate, but she's at school from 9-7:30 and then she's ready to get to bed. Maybe we can do something on Sunday afternoon instead. She's just thankful that nobody can hold the "you're only 17" card against her any longer and she can finally apply for the salons and other stores such as Ulta and Sally's.

Janet - I hope you enjoy your ladies bible study. It will be good for you to get out and about.

Kohl~Sorry to hear that more things are coming out for D21. I've been in that place with Maegann. Praying for you and for D21.

I had a good day, but not without little things popping up here and there to keep things off the even path. I'm looking forward to heading out for ladies Bible study in the morning and then we'll see what the afternoon brings.

Janet — Glad you chose to spend time with Issac...You're emoticon

Dorothy — I like snow because it can be so beautiful but rain is usually so much safer when driving.

Waiting for the appointment with the psychiatrist instead of taking the first available with a nurse practitioner was well worth the wait. She was so refreshing. I feel comfortable with her approach and won't have any problem with having D21 go in on her own next time. while we were conversing with the new doctor I did find out that D21 did start having some very troubling issues again this week I was taken by surprise but it is what it is. Glad she was honest.

Got in over 13000 steps today! emoticon Had to go for several walks to cry for a bit each time. Really had to keep my mind off of what I heard while I was driving. I walked it off...not really...I'm sure I'll cry myself to sleep.

Janet - wise choice - your work will always be there but some day he may not.. WE need to relish our time with them as it goes way to fast.

How fun that will be for Maegann to go to a conference in California,.

It was beautiful here yesterday - today it is raining. Better than snow,

Tai Chi class was great last night and tonight is my monthly night out with the girls.

Dorothy~Every little bit is progress! Tim's been working in the small bedroom right off the laundry room as Maegann's friend Kim will be staying with us for most of two weeks in March before they fly to CAPER in California. (It's a huge 2-day conference with workshops for Paul Mitchell students.) He was painting yesterday.

Isaac is home today due to the holiday and for some reason he is very mom-needy so I gave up and am now Sparking and "watching" Scooby Doo with him. I have plenty to do, but figure this is more important as he hasn't wanted to spend time with me for quite some time now. I'll just work on things tomorrow instead.

Dorothy~Sounds like progress is being made on the clean-out of the house!

Today is a quiet one with both kids gone. This afternoon I'm Sparking and watching F.B.eye (Hallmark series). Will probably snag a nap soon and then cross-stitch or reading will happen.

I find it funny that I am emotional about this 18 year thing and when I ask Tim how he feels about it all I get is "Why would it bother me?" emoticon

Janet - I think ii it always hard when they turn 18 - its like saying good by to there childhood which is so sad.

I think the attic and the basement are going to be huge as well as the shed but I started on the kitchen yesterday - OMG - we have so much stuff. Packing some of it away for Michael - some is going to to the cabin and some I am going to get rid of. But everything is off of the walls and 2 cupboards are just about empty - and hubby emptied half of the freezer yesterday - packed a lot of stuff - I did empty the upstairs bathroom - so a lot of things are just waiting to be brought over - I will grab some each day,. Today I am going to work in the basement a bit so it is ready for the onslaught of stuff as well.

I also hauled hubby around to a couple of stores yesterday - not sure how I got roped into that - but he really did not feel well so I was glad to help.
I hope Dons throat is feeling better.

Hope you got everything packed up as planned. At least the weather is such that you don't mind being inside!

I had a quiet day and got a few things checked off the to do list. Now I'm just waiting on Tim and we'll watch "Spectre". Maegann is staying the night at Kim's so they can work together on repacking their Boards containers again. I hope she has a good time. I will be honest, I'm having some emotions with her 18th birthday coming this week (Thursday). I feel like a part of me is lost. Can you relate or is this just me? You both have kiddos who have crossed this milestone.

I am going across the street today and getting the kitchen packed up and hopefully the upstairs bathroom. Have to get my rear in gear. I will see if my son in law is available some weekend and have him come hope us move mattresses up to the cabin and the other furniture that we want to take up there,. Once I get the bed taken down and the furniture out of the one one bedroom upstairs I can start bringing everything out of the attic. I do have a plan - just need to get it in action,.

It is -1 right now but suppose to get up to 30 today.

Janet - that snow yesterday was heavy and wet - what a pain.. When I got home last night I cleaned out the front of the driveway as it i is getting down into the teens over night and I knew everything would freeze up. Also cleaned off the steps and sidewalk where snow had slid off of the roof. We got a dusting last night but not feeling it this morning as it is so cold. 14 out there right now and will not get much warmer. Thankfully tomorrow we will be back into the 30's.

Glad you were able to have a calm and restful day,

Dorothy~I hope the house sale goes smoothly. Thanks for the encouragement. It is exhausting.

Another quiet day here for me. I even slept through about 20 minutes of ladies Bible study so I just stayed home and actually slept a little bit longer. I think all the emotional things with both kids are taking a toll on me. Whew!

Tomorrow is a day with nothing on the schedule other than food prep and my Bible time. May take the day off of paid work too as I spent the afternoon on it today.

I have been lazy not getting done what I need to. The girl that wants to buy the house is coming Saturday - just what I needed - a kick in the pants to get things done.

Dorothy~And that is a huge concern that I have for her. Can't find the right counselor and I know she needs one. Glad you were able to take those half days off!

Kept Maegann home today so she could sleep and have some down time. I have had some text conversations with her friend Kim which has filled in some of the gaps, but it was just an all around emotionally draining day. Hate that there are more scars to come on her left arm too. I am trying so hard to keep all of this in God's hands, but it is so difficult when the hurt is right in front of me.

Isaac is still not offering positive behaviors at home and I'm finding that it is running over a bit into his class time too. Just not putting his focus on his classwork. He's even getting a lower grade in the Special Ed class due to behaviors and lack of participation. Just don't know what's going on with him.

I'm still working through my personal to do list and making progress, but today is not the day to tackle the budget and tomorrow is Bible study so we'll see if I feel like it in the afternoon.

Yep. Little steps bring it all together. That's where I'm at on going through the boxes that are "storage". I am honestly planning to get rid of some of it as they've been boxed for over 2 years now and not missed.

Maegann had a rough day at school and tonight we are finally getting her calmed down. She's so close to being out of the school environment and it can't come soon enough. Breaks this mama's heart to see her so deeply broken because of mean people.

Glad you were able to get the taxes mostly finished. Tim plans to get started on ours next weekend.

Not an argument free day with Isaac. I have "call his specialist for a parent appointment" first on the to do list tomorrow! Something needs to change soon.

Today was calm. Church, rest and organizing for the week.

Janet - hopefully today will be no arguments with Issac.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Maegann does well in her testing.

I did order another external hard drive so now I will keep it backed up on my computer as well as the hard drive and my daughter also suggested keeping a file in my drop box. Good idea.

So basically updated my book work and did taxes yesterday - a few loads of laundry - I really need to run the sweeper. Hoping to finish my taxes today - its just brain overload.

Dorothy~Sorry about the loss of the tax information. I back ours up in three separate places.

I had a very calm day and loved every minute of it. Unfortunately Isaac had to get argumentative with me tonight so I sent him away from me. Settling in for a James Bond movie (Skyfall) and some popcorn now.

It does seem crazy for such a list for the Board exam, but it also makes sense as this is for the state licensing as a Cosmetologist. They want everyone to have a level playing field by having the exact same things to use. Next week the school leaders are assisting the ones who are leaving in the next several weeks so that they are fully prepared for what the exam requires. The school pays for the first test so they are doing all they can to make sure they don't have to pay for it themselves a second time ($175).

Khol - hope you enjoyed your walk while the girls were at fellowship.

Unfortatley I have to go out to go to work and since it is an ordinance to have clean walks I try to get done what I can before I go to work,

We got about 6 inches of snow and will probably get about 3 more - not too bad - just made everything nice and messy with the rain before the snow. I only had to sweep the sidewalks before work yesterday and someone had shoveled when I got home but still had to do the front and side walks and hubby front. But glad someone else had done the rest.

Janet - why do they have to make things so complicated for a test, Hope she got her shopping done and is ready for her test.

Hope Issac enjoyed the games.

Working on the taxes today - I am so mad - my external drive bit the bed and of course that is where I had my taxes stored - lesson learned - store them on the computer and on the external drive then you have a backup of your back up. I took it to work to see if the IT guys could recover it but unfortunately they were unable to. And I always use turbo tax so everything just transfers. Good thing I print them out as well.

Dorothy~Hope the weather didn't make things awful today.

Kohl~Enjoy your walk at the mall.

I had a very quiet day once again. I did my Bible study, am caught up on paid work until more documents arrive and then enjoyed a movie while finishing the budget reviews and entering my time.

Isaac is going to be home about 9 tonight as he stayed for all three basketball games. Maegann is shopping with Kim after school for the Boards exam that is next week. Long list and you have to follow it to a "t" or you can't take the test. Tim is painting walls and I'm Sparking and watching a documentary on PureFlix.

Dorothy — We had ice yesterday and snow today. I have a deal with my girls...I do the driving they do the clearing. Makes sense to me since I wouldn't even be leaving the comforts of my home except to do them a favor. I agree about the ice and it was troublesome here. I had my daughter turn the heat and defroster on in the van and lock the door. Ten minutes later she went out with the other set of keys and was able to begin to get the windshield wipers to unstick from the windshield.

Janet — Sounds nice to see your daughter in action.

Slow snowy commute to counseling/college this morning. The way home was much better. I did have to broom some snow from the sidewalk and brick walkway when I got home because it keeps piling up.

Then it was time to touch base with my homeschooling crew. D12 had completed all 5 subjects assigned for the morning and D15 had gotten 2:5 done which is okay by me because one of the subjects was chemistry and the problems usually do take more than an hour to complete. Now I need to help D12 with spelling and then she can be done for the afternoon. They also need to rehearse their audition pieces so I can give them further input on how to improve.

They will be going to Teen Girl Fellowship this evening so I will spend that time walking indoors at the mall. Too messy outside to briskly walk safely.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Janet - got my hair cut and colored yesterday.

Yesterday mess on the sidewalks was such a pain in the but to clean up and then it rained all day. Turned back into snow overnight - have to go out and see what awaits me this morning.

Thankfully we didn't have the freezing temps that were forecast.

I am in wait mode with my color at the school salon and am enjoying watching Maegann give an Army soldier a haircut.

Janet - I am feeling better - thanks.

We got ice over night - I am dreading going out there to see how bad it is. I will have to go out and treat the sidewalks and run my van to get all of the ice off of it. Would much rather have snow than ice. I hope the roads are treated.

emoticon Dorothy. Hope you feel better soon.

I've enjoyed a quiet day at home. It was pretty icy out this morning so I opted to stay home from Bible study. It's been snowing lightly all day and I imagine it will be a layer of ice in the morning.

I didn't like the halftime show much at all. I wish they'd go back to marching bands!

How did the meeting on the house go?

I had a very quiet day even with both kiddos home. Tomorrow will be the same although minus the kiddos. Whoo Hoo!

Janet - I am curious what you though f the half time show. I was very disappointed. More so with J Lo than Sharkia,

I only watched the first half of the football game and like you said it was good.

Tai Chi for me tonight - looking forward to that. Also have a dentist appointment today and am meeting up with the girl who wants to buy the house,

What a fun surprise to have everyone show up! The tea party sounds like it was very nice too.

After lunch I spent time watching Criminal Minds while working on the jigsaw puzzle. Tim and I are now watching the game and both teams are playing great which is good as I dislike the blowouts for this game. Almost halftime and I'll bring out the fresh veggies and the 5-layer dip & chips. I'm getting hungry!

So not only did Melissa and Michael come home on Friday but Mylinda and her hubby and kids did as well so full house. Things get quite hectic when everyone is home. But love it. And when Becky and her boyfriend showed up the brought the dog so even more craziness - she is just a puppy. But hey did not come until Saturday. Angela and the girls were the last arrived and it was so much fun dressing up with our hats and going for tea - all of us girls - we left the boys at home. So there were 8 of us and we had chicken curry sandwiches and some kind of puff pastry with pastrami, scones with jam and clotted cream, a cake and pecan tassies - so full - and of course our tea! And they had our table all dressed up and different tea cups and tea pots for everyone. Lots of fun. But it was so nice when everyone headed home as well - I was pooped

Nothing much going on today other than Isaac has already told me it's a 3-day weekend and he knows he'll annoy me. LOL Maegann's have a down day mentally so I hope she was able to get through the final exam this afternoon and won't have to retake it. The last big test from a years worth of Theory. Tim will be home later than planned as he got hit with delays out of Reno due to San Francisco's weather. He's finally in the air and should be in SF soon. I think McD's or Wendy's for supper tonight.

Dorothy~Definitely big changes coming up for you. Maybe build a "tiny house" out back for Mike to live in. Thanks for the update on your niece. I hope that wound will heal up so she can get the surgery behind her.

Took it very easy again today. Rested, did paid work, watched a couple movies on Hallmark and now Sparking before I go spend time on the puzzle. Tomorrow's schedule is clear too!

Janet - hope you are not as exhausted today,. It is hard when you are always tired.

So much going on here - where to start.

The weather continues to stay mild although it is only 16 out right now it is suppose to get back into the mid 30's today. And even though when we get snow we seem to get slammed it has not been a bad winter so far and the next 10 days seem to be staying on course,

There is a girl - she is the daughter of my sisters husband who would like to buy the house that Mike is in on a land contract. So the next 2 months are going to be crazy trying to get him out of there. I have mixed feelings on this - I have so much peace over here with no conflicts and my house stays clean - now it is going to turn back into a roller coaster ride - but we will be out from under 2 mortgages and utilities on 2 places. So we will have to see how this all plays out. Going to be interesting. So much stuff to get rid of - good time for a big clean,

My niece still has a wound on her head - not sure if it is from the fall or from getting hit but it has not healed yet so no surgery until it is healed. She is very weepy and so afraid of the upcoming surgery. They are making arrangements at the wound clinic for them to look at it.

So I am really looking forward to the upcoming weekend with my family and our tea party because after that I am going to be hustling.

Dorothy~That would drive me crazy having no idea where the office was while I was on the way! LOL

I didn't go to study this morning as I was exhausted and chose to sleep and start the day a little later. I also had a meeting at the bank this afternoon regarding potentially refinancing as the interest rate has dropped down to 3.1%. Then I did a little paid work before Sparking. Next up is jigsaw puzzle and tv time for me.

Janet - that would be the hard part - finding ones that you have not seen.

Cleaning out clutter on a computer or paper clutter - ugh - dislike them both.

Had a low key night - exactly what I needed - did stop down to my moms on the way home. Came home and took some alka seltzer plus cold medicine and went to bed early. No headache this morning so thats a plus.

Taking my niece back to Erie today for her neuro appointment. I was trying to fine lut the location or the name of the Dr yesterday and my great nephew did not know anything emoticon He thought we would just go back to the hospital and ask at the front desk. OMG So I got on the phone and made a call and luckily found a couple of people who were willing to help me. Also lucky that there are only a couple of neuro practices in Erie to choose from.

Dorothy~Hope you aren't coming down with something. Glad the class was good!

I had a good day. Massage, some cleaning and then spent time backing-up photos and cleaning out files on my desktop. Too much clutter and needed to move into 2020. Tonight I am watching sweet movies on Amazon. Found a cute Christmas movie too. They are getting harder to find--at least ones I haven't seen anyway.

Nice that your daughter was able to help you with the dining set Dorothy!

Fairly calm day. Slept after taking Isaac to school, took Maegann to her NeuroPsych appointment, did some paid work and now Sparking while watching Criminal Minds. Another hour and the kids will be heading to bed.

The torn up house is worth the floors. We are saving money to get the rest of our flooring. Tired of sub-flooring!

I've had a quiet Sunday and now Tim is on his way to Reno for the week. Tonight is our routine of "dad's flying" so we have pizza and I did go ahead with it even though finances are tight. Between Maegann's brain fog (deep one this time) and Isaac's behaviors if I don't it is worth making it happen.

Enjoy your quiet day Janet - I have a tore up house to deal with - like a big jigsaw - trying to figure where to place things now that the floor is pretty much done - ugh!

But I am very happy wit my floors and my daughters boyfriend fixed 2 of my lights in the basement as well.

Khol - wow - that is a lot of practice. It is wonderful that your girls enjoy it so much,.

Isn't that the truth - when children are toddlers you think you are going to loose it - but as they get older you sure do miss those those toddler days,.

Janet - sure hope you are feeling better today. I feel like I am trying to come down with something but I do not have time to be sick today so I will have to muscle through it.

I only worked half a day yesterday - I took my niece to Erie to see about getting dentures. And next week I take her back to see when they will be able to get her scalp put back together. Good lord - she never stops talking - I was so happy to get home to my nice quiet house - lol!
