That is wonderful. Congratulations on your achievements. So what will be your next goal?

In less than a pound, I will have broke the 100s barrier! No longer will I be in the 200s. I am within 3% of no longer being considered clinically obese by my body fat measurements. I am within less than one pound of losing 30 pounds since I began this journey with SparkPeople three months ago. I am leaner, toner, physically stronger, more disciplined, more focused, and more appreciative than I have been in a very long time. I am now within 50 pounds of my goal weight, not 80 pounds. I am excited about how this process is truly changing me from the inside out. I am a blessed woman. Merry Christmas to Everyone. My greatest gift ever received was the gift of salvation. Being in this SparkPeople process ranks as the 2nd greatest personal decision I have made for me.

Well in November I was finally starting to see the numbers move. We had started at the gym and in 6 weeks we have worked our way up from Cardio 30 mins to cardio plus the nautilis machines.

My set back happened end of Thanksgiving weekend and one of my horses got seriously hurt. Cut his back leg. After two weeks of trying to save the leg we have decided to put him down on tuesday. Now I can finally move on.

what if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday.

Hooray on everyone's success!

My excitement today was going to the closet and trying on a pair of pants that actually fit and were two sizes less than when I started losing weight three months ago. Now that is a great way to start the day!

Hi all, today was weigh in day I am down 4 lbs for the week. I added some stuff to my work out so I guess I am over doing it, I plan to eat more calories or exercise less if this happens again next Friday, because I know too much weight loss too fast is not good. I am 2 lbs away from 50 lbs gone , can't wait. Have a great day all!!

Have to share this:

Today I had to bake cookies for an exchange at work tomorrow. So, I planned in my calories for the day to allow for one of the cookies I made. However, when I ate it, it wasn't as "good" as I thought it would be, and in fact, I only ended up eating half of it! WooHoo!!!

This September 21 I weighed 258 pounds. Now I'm at 225. There was a two-week plateau during which I gained a pound due, I think, to stress from my husband's heart attack and not being as diligent, but I am convinced that, with all diet and exercise being equal, the weeks I lose more weight are when I drink at least 13 glasses of water daily and do strength training twice a week.

My first major weight goal is to make it down to 180 and into a healthier body fat range, and by the new year I'd like to weight 219 or less.

Starting weight: 258

Well, I did my measurements today since it's the 1st of the month...

Even though I only lost 3 lbs. for the month, I also lost a total of 2.25 inches!

I know I won't hit the 20 lb. total, but I still consider this a success... and I plan to do my best during this last month of the year!

I have only lost 5 lbs on this challenge. My start date for food intake and exercise program was Oct 26, which is only 5 weeks ago. My trainer said to not get discouraged with slow weight loss at the beginning.

I did maintain over Thanksgiving, which was very good news. I did not exercise at all, which I need to improve when we are traveling over Christmas. Also, I am determined not to skip a day between now and the holidays -- including the three days I am on a business trip next week.

Although 15 lbs in December is probably unrealistic, if I lost another 5-8 lbs and kept up my exercise program, the end of this challenge will be a success for me.

Well, I am doing much better than I expected with this challenge. I have lost 14 lbs since the end of October, 44 lbs overall. Only 6 more to go and a month to do it in. I guess I am in pretty good shape. Maybe I will make it to 25 lbs!

emoticon I made it to ONEDERLAND!!!! I am getting back to schedule today...which is another plus...I actually lost weight through Thanksgiving. I guess I can thank SPARKPEOPLE for their education...I knew I wasn't getting in my exercise, so I automatically kicked in to "healthy thinking and eating" mode ~ even if I didn't want to :)

Keep up the great work you all are doing!!!

I can so relate... my "official" weigh-in day is Monday, and last week, I weighed in at 218.3 lbs. I typically check myself mid-week, and on Thursday morning, I was down to 217.4 lbs. Then today, is my weigh-in day for my Wii Biggest Loser game and though it doesn't weigh me the same as my scale, I like to check how close it is. So, today, when I weighed in, I was back to 218 lbs. I've been bouncing like this for the last couple weeks.... which is getting really frustrating!!!

I don't think I'll reach 20 either. Haven't lost anything in the last couple of weeks. Will try to tweak my routine and do better this week. It just might take me a little longer to lose the 20. But I'm going to keep going.Feeling a little frustrated at this point.

I doubt I'll make my 20 lbs. either, but the real kicker is that I've actually lost an extra 8 lbs. that won't count towards my goal because I gained that much during my Nascar vacation, so I had to lose it "again" before I got back to my challenge starting weight!

I'm just going to do the best I can...

The scale has finally started moving again (down)!!
Inches have been creeping in all along but the scale was stuck.

With only 5 weeks to go I am not sure I can lose 13 more pounds but it won't be from lack of trying. My girlfriend that I work out with and I have found a couple more cardio classes we can add in for the next month which should help

Yesterday was my weekly weigh-in. I was up a pound from last week, but I could tell a lot of it was due to salty foods on Sunday and not enough water. Have a plan in place for Thanksgiving. We are going out of town, but I am at least going to walk most of the days that we are gone.

I'm getting closer... although these 20 pounds are my last 20... and I'm down to about 7-8 to lose... with the holiday gatherings, etc it's not going to be easy but I'm making concerted efforts to make sure that I try to at least estimate my calories and keep note of it -It helps me keep myself honest and know how much more I can eat for the day.

The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in and scramble through as well as we can.

Hi team, I have not been involved lately due to medical reasons. I had an injury at work which has caused a few other things. The medication that the dr.s put me on for the severe pain I am going through gave me a horrible allergic reaction. So on top of severe pain I had a bad rash, breathing complications and depression from everything. I was scheduled for surgery this past friday and it was cancelled because of the allergic reaction so I will be having surgery this coming Monday. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope to return to sparking sometime in February. Apparently it will be a long recovery.

Good luck everyone and keep sparking. Happy Thanksgiving to all and hope everyone fullfills there challange. I am sorry I am unable to continue for the time being.
