I have accomplished one goal for the week. I have been able to work out in the afternoon twice so far this week and that was one goal. I had been soooo busy that I was lucky if I got one in. I am on track to getting in at least 2 or 3 more for the week as well!!!

Just got home and read the challenge. Not possible seeing as I am needing to get to bed so I can go to work tomorrow. I got my water in today...Yippeeeeee!!!! This is a miracle since I have never drank that much water in one day. I live on sodas. I have not had a soda today, just water.

My 3 goals will be to drink my water, exercise, and log my meals. The hardest part is logging my meals. Any suggestions? I enjoy reading the posts, I hate responding. I hate typing on computers, I'm a teacher, hate paperwork. (overkill) emoticon

I read the callenge in the morning, and chuckled at the goal thinking before I fix a room I need to fix myself!! I had to leave for work but the thought stuck with me, so I am back to write it down. I drink my water daily no problem, I usually get my fruits & veges in, but I have a very hectic work schedule sometimes work back to back 16 hr shifts which leaves me very little time to sleep let alone ANY time to exercise!

So my goal is on those long days at work figuring creative ways to still get in some exercise, I got out my pedometer and I can take a brisk walk or run a set or stairs..something to get the blood moving!

Did not drink as much water as I should have but I didn't have soda either. I tracked my food and it is amazing how much less I eat when I know I have to write it down. The kitchen still needs my attention.

Goals are:
1. Drink 8 glasses of water at least 5 days a week.
2. Major Cleaning on my bedroom (need to get all the junk out).
3. At least 10 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week.

These are a little bit of a stretch for me seeing as I am very seditary.

Three goals for this week: I'm pretty ambitious!

1) Getting back up on that horse--I'm starting again with SparkPeople. I keep starting and stopping, and I have lost as much as 57 lb when I am consistent. I've regained about 15 pounds from my lowest point, and I want to get back to the lifestyle changes. I think I'm really ready this time to get back to the Spark. So Goal 1 is to log in daily. I've found that if I log in every day, I stick to what I need to do.

Goal 2) Catch up on enough stuff at work that I won't feel embarassed at my "annual review" with my boss (later this week).

Goal 3) Attend at least 2 karate classes and do some practicing outside of classes so that I won't feel embarassed in class (detect a trend here?)

My biggest motivation to get back on track with the weight loss I really need is that I really love my karate class, and I'm getting closer and closer to black belt. The black belt test is about 3 hours long, and I need to be able to handle the endurance. Also, my balance is better when I weigh at least 10 pounds less and have more muscle, and I want to be really doing a good job. :)

My 3 goals today are:
1. Not to be depressed
2. Go for a 30min walk
3. Read my Bible

My three goals for this week are:
1. treat my children with the love and respect they deserve (I had a rough week last week)
2. get rid of a small pile in our living room
3. get one session of strenth training in
4. adding a fourth - get started in my journal. I bought a really pretty one at Costco yesterday, and I want to be faithful with using it.

My 5 fruits and veggies are:
berries, mango's, veggies with lunch and dinner, peach for evening dessert. NUM!

My goals for this week:

1. Finish unpacking/organizing
2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
3. Make it to work on time every day (tougher than it sounds!)

My three goals are:
1- defrost my freezer and throw out old stuff
2- get in my afternoon workouts at least twice this week
3- finish a project at work (GSA)

My 5 fruits and vegis are:
lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumber and an apple

goals
1. Sit down and actually write out an up to date budget emoticon

2. Stay within my calorie limits more days than I exceed them

3. Say something positive (besides "I love You') to my non-communicative and nagged at teenage boy each day. emoticon

This is the best challenge. The only problem is I don't know what to challenge myself to do. All the things you speak of I do anyway. So now, what to do?
1.Do 1 hour of prayer today.
2. Help a stranger today.

Good morning! This is my first time posting. I am pretty new to the site. My goals this wk are:

1. swim for at least an hour once this week
2. help my 8 yr old clear out the toys he no longer plays with for donation to charity
3. Get my work out schedule back on track.

Hello,
I am new on my Spark People journey so this is my first post. I have approximatly 75 pounds to lose. This week I want to make sure I get to the Y every day for at least 30 minutes of Cardio and 3 days of at least 20 minutes of weight training. I have had 3 cups of water today and bought some plums for a snack. Have a great day and I look forward to being a part of the group.

Well...I have never posted for the challenges, but decided maybe this is the week to start....Here are my goals for the week:

1. Scrub my kitchen tile...not mop it...down and dirty hands and knees scrubbing!

2. Wash my windows.

3. Weed my flower beds.

I made these goals b/c I have done really well with my nutrition and fitness goals during the past 5 weeks...thought these goals would burn some calories as well as help me accomplish things that need done around my house.

This is just what I need to get me back into my healthy routine .... I have been out for the last 6 weeks helping my mom recuperate from knee surgery.

My goals for this week:
1. Start my fitness routine again and aim for 3-30 minutes
2. Drink minimum of 8 glasses (I will shoot for 10)
3. Have 5-8 servings of fruits/veggies

1) Make a visual collage of my long term goals for my office and at home.

Well, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!!! I am a little late getting started...plus, I slept in an extra hour!!!

Your challenge today is quite simple....it will involve three things!

1) I want you to post what your main goals to accomplish THIS WEEK are...I am going to limit you to three goals! It can be anything from cleaning a certain room you have been wanting to get done, getting your water intake in each day, exercising at least 30 minutes a day for ? days this week...you get the picture....

2) emoticon Drink your WATER!!! Yep, that water does help cleanse your body and feed your muscles!!! AT LEAST 8 cups a day! emoticon

3) emoticon Try getting at least 5 fruits and vegetables in today ~ any combination!!! Go shopping if you have to! emoticon

See, these are easy on us for a Monday...I like easy Mondays...

Enjoy your Monday and make the most of it!!! We control our day by the choices we make...Choose to be happy and the rest will fall in place :)
