I don't know what challenges to have. I just have trouble with the same old ones. Drinking water, eating fruits and vegetables, exercising. I suppose it would be too boring to have the same ones over again. I know we need people to participate.

I've let my work get me off track this week.
I miss going to the gym and getting a good workout.
If I don't get to the gym soon, this counselor will soon be needing services!
Starting over tomorrow. Not feeling well today.

I signed up to do the first challenge and then had internet problems all week so was never able to get on and post my results. :-) The first week was a struggle but made it through. The first time I did this I started walking in a slow pace so as not to hurt my health. Gradually stepped up the pace so I was as I call it "walking with a purpose". I now am able to walk with a purpose again.

Yeah my chiropractor said something about breaking your body system down to restructure when starting fitness and this poses a complication for the immune system, apparently this is why people get sick when working out especially in the beginning. What I want to know is how do I keep my system strong besides doubling all the vities I take everyday?

Hi there guys and gals, I have a question.

How does one stay healthy while working out?

I started on the cross country ski machine and have been sick twice since, both times a bad bad bug.

I work at the hospital and don't seem to get sick there. It seems to be bugs brought home by family members and I seem to be getting every one of them. I am also still sick.

Is it common to get sick when starting out? How can I get around that?

Is it necessary to track it on SP? My computer at home is very slow, and it can take 15-20 minutes just to get one meal in the tracker. I've been keeping a written log of food because it takes so long.

we write how many minutes of exercise we do daily at least 10 min and tracking is our food.

Please excuse my ignorance but I can't figure out how the challenge is supposed to work (I feel really dumb and embarrassed). When and where do I start posting? It says to pick someone from the challenge and comment on their page and stuff. Where do I find members of the challenge? I'm totally confused. HELP!

If you go to your "Start" page, on the right side there is a section called "My Community", and right below that you can jump to one of your teams in a drop down box. That takes you directly to the team and you can see the comment threads on that page. Scroll down to the bottom to see your Challenges! I love the challenges :)

the awesome part about SP is that others have done it before us emoticon

This sounds great! But I'm brand new to messages and interacting with teams.
