My goal?
Well I work at a pharmacy as a manager so I never stay seated for more than 15 minutes at a time. My goal is to not let this (or the god forsaken Heat!) be an excuse for not taking my dog for a walk around the block, which takes about 10-15 minutes.

I want to take her walking every day, so here's to hoping and kicking myself to make it happen.

Started light exercise again last night, but have been thwarted by heel pain. Will do very light exercise tonight not involving foot movement (will concentrate on arms). Think I know what it is and I have a plan to get my exercise in while not hurting myself any further.

Ok... Action Step 1 - set my goals:

My goal for this week is to exercise at least 10 minutes per day, working up to 15 minutes per day by the end of week 1.

My goal for this challenge is to establish a daily exercise habit and get a streak going that's so good I'll not DARE break it!

Ok... I am poushing myself out of my comfort zone!!! I can run 5 km, but I am signing myself up for a 10 Km fun run in September. I plan to run 5 and walk the other 5.I figure that for the fee, I would rather be out there on the course visiting for an hour, rather than sitting eating pancakes and drinking coffee for the other 30 min, waiting for my friends! I have not done a course for over 5 years... but this is going to be a great adventure!

Hi! My goal for this week is to do SOME activity for at least 10 minutes every day. Sometimes it will be my recumbent bike, sometimes arm weights. When it gets cooler outside, I'll start walking my pup again-but that's a goal for another day!

It's my turn and I'm taking it!

Stay calm and spark on!

Today I had on my pedometer I wanted to measure just how many steps that I had took from 8:30 this morning until 4:30 this evening. It was 13,461 steps. I walked 6,380 miles and I burned up a whole bunch of calories. I went to my exercise class and then I went to my aunts and laid contact paper down.

My goal is to pay attention to the *every day* part of this challenge. While I hope I can do more than 10 minutes when I exercise, it's more important that I make it a daily habit.

My goal this week is to do (2) ten minute cardio sessions per day for 5 days this week. I love the 10 minute work outs, they have me much more motivated than I was thinking I had to do a 30 minute session or more. This makes it easy!

I had a healthy baby 4 months ago. I was threatened miscarriage, so I did not exercise for six months prior. I'm trying to get moving again, so ten minutes a day, walking or on the wii I think.

I've been on this streak since I started Spark People- today will be a real challenge because I've been doing P90x and I am SORE. It's mostly my legs, so I think I will try just upper body strength training tonight to get myself through it :)

My goal is ten minutes - walking faster than a three year old's pace; riding my exercise bike fast enough to feel it; ten minutes of focused stretching; ten minutes of low-impact weight resistance; ten minutes of crunches - it doesn't matter. I need to use ten minutes per day to move. Yesterday I swam ten minutes in a pool without touching bottom keeping up with a three year old "fish". I felt so good afterward & slept so well.

The real goal - take what I know how to do and just do it!

I'm back on the Sparkpeople wagon, so to speak, and this time it's going to stick. The only time I've lost weight was here and so here I am. The biggest challenge is exercising. But I will do 10 minutes. My goal this month is to start out with 10-15 minutes per day. My weight loss goal for the month is 5 pounds. I'm hoping that that is reasonable. I'm logging my food and planning my meals. Measuring and weighing my food too. I know what to do- I just need to do it.
emoticon

Live Simply. Love Generously. Care Deeply. Speak Kindly. Pray constantly. Leave the rest to God.

I just want to lose 5 pounds this month. Start 8-8-11

I have not made myself consistently exercise since my oldest gave up naps at age 2 -- that was 7 years ago!. I want to make exercise a regular part of my life. So I am going to do SOMETHING for 10 minutes every day. Even if it's just stretching or doing some squats while I watch TV.

I started with the 28 day boot camp that fizzled after a strong first week. Well maybe I better get back to baby steps. I know I can exercise 10 minutes each day, even time I will be on vacation.

I do go to Zumba which I love, but there are days that I just can't (can't or don't want to) so I end up doing nothing.

So I will do 10 minutes of exercise for the next 3 days and supplement with at least 10 minutes of walking for the next week and a half.

My goal is a new ritual of 10 minutes of Cardio, Shower, 3 minutes relaxation breathing and settle into bed with a good book.

This will be above and beyond my regular exercise of Doubles/Tennis 4x a week and weight training on T/Th..

I've done this the last 2 nights and I felt like I got a better nights sleep so I want to make it a ritual.

I am starting with baby steps; I am usually an "all or nothing" girl... so this is a big change in my mindset!!!

I am setting myself up for success here:
- I moved my exercise ball in my bedroom so it is easy to access and DO my sets in the morning. (LOL - it was stored in the garage previously!)
- set up a pile of exercise wear... easy to grab and go
- I will put new music on my IPOD today, so that when I go running I have something new to look forward to!

I joined this challenge last Tuesday or Wednesday, but should have waited. I was having some serious knee pain from the C25K program I was doing. I want to keep up with the C25K, but I think I'm going to take it a little slower than nine weeks. Thursday would have been the last day of Week 4, but I couldn't finish my run on Tuesday from the pain in my knee. So I found this challenge and decided it was extremely do-able. I was going to start Monday the 8th since I was taking time off to rest my knee, but I have decided that I'm going to count the last two days since I was back to school shopping on Saturday and cleaning house the majority of today. My goal though is a simple 10 minutes every day for an entire month. I am also going to keep up with C25K, but I am going to go back and stay on week one or two for a while. I was actually burning more calories/going further during those weeks (according to the treadmill) than the later weeks plus it wasn't as hard on my knees. Sorry for the long winded post.

I am joining this challenge because I need to make the goal of getting back in shape a higher priority in my life. For the past two weeks, I have journaled everything I ate and worked out several times per week, but have not actually made changes to my diet based on what I'm seeing on the food tracker or the scale!

My challenge goals include:
Being active in some way for a minimum of 10 minutes every day (duh)
Track my exercise in the fitness tracker
Do not add food to my diet based on the "earning extra calories" theory

I just bought a stationary bike yesterday. Used it for the first time. For about 10 minutes. I enjoyed how I felt afterwards. I want to build up to 30 by the end of week 3.

When thinking of your weight loss and fitness motivation & weight loss goals, remove all fears by:

1.Focusing on the good
2.Focusing on the objective
3.Focusing on the goal
4.Focusing on the solution
5.Focusing on my aim
6.Focusing on the true destination
