My goals are:
1. lose 1 - 2 lbs a week
2. lose 30-40 lbs before my trip to Walt Disney World
the end of May.
3. exercise a minimum of 40 minutes every day
4. eat high fiber and low fat most days of the week.
5. love myself as I am today, regardless of what size I am.
6. remember my motto: 1 meal at a time!

emoticon I would like to lose 2 lbs per week with healthy diet and exercise.. My goal is to be 170lbs by my Ann. in Oct. I want to work on keeping my cardio and exercises on a daily basis;.

My goals are to lose weight, lose inches and DO MY STRENGTH TRAINING more frequently! I know this is what is missing from my routine, and I am going to do it right this year.

My goals are to lose weight and inches, but most importantly get healthy. I want to make sure that I stick with this program and continue to do it...I want it to be an every day part of my routine. Just like brushing my teeth or bathing lol I want to be able to do it...without thinking of it as an option...just a part of life.

My goal is to get my plan jumpstarted after Christmas.
I lost 10 lbs. last year but have gained back 4 lbs. over Christmas.
I want to get more strength training in my plan and drink the proper amount of water.
Eating healthier with more fruits and vegetables.
We can do it!

I would like to lose 5 lbs (which will take probably take months, not weeks) I would like to increase my cardio activity to 5 times per week.

I would mostly like to get establish and maintain healthy habits: working out most days, drinking enough water, meditating daily. I get caught up in the busy-ness of life and let the things that are most important go to the bottom of my "To-Do" list.

My fitness goals specifically are to lose approx 15 pounds, but mostly just firm up so I feel fabulous when I go to my favorite place - South Beach, Miami!!

I want to meet the goals set out in the boot camp, namely to complete the 10 minute workout each day, and to have 30 minutes of cardio at least five days of each week.
I am tracking what I eat in my Curves food log, following the Weight Management Plan 30 day cycle with a friend.
I love having goals that I can track easily - these are so much more motivating than "lose 30 lbs this year".

My goals are to track my food everyday and get to the gym most days. I joined an all girls gym and have been doing muscle conditioning and Les Mills Body Pump classes a couple times a week. I also have a trainer 2 times a month. I am trying to lose about 60 pounds before we start trying for another baby. I want to change my lifestyle for good!

So, here I am again. Round three. What do I want to accomplish? Consistency. Stamina. The perfect body? Well, realistically, I want to develop consistency in my workout routine. I would like much more stamina. If these two things are accomplished through this 28 day challenge it will be a triumph!

I have many goals in my life but for health goals I hope to lose 100 lbs by 2012. Doing so I know I need to keep up on my workouts and watch my portions. No diets...Never believed in them. Smaller portions proves to work for me :D. Good luck everyone :D

This is a great start to loose all that weight. I need to loose another 65 lbs. Have been at a stand still until the holidays came around and had a few other stressful things happen. Gained about 10 lbs. Working on getting back on track.

To CATZ115: I've seen a modification for jumping jacks where you do the arm movements the same as 'regular' jacks but do a step out to the side each time the arms go up, alternating legs. Should be non-jarring to both the knees and ankles. Good luck!

I want to stick to this challenge the only trouble I can see I will have with this is any excersice that requires jumping or running. I am not able to do either, especially the jumping as I have problems with stress fractures in my ankles and I am suppose to wear a brace do to my ankle bone rubbing against bone. Sounds gross I know, but no cartilage where it should be. I will do everything I can manage to do though!!! Any ideas for replacements on jumping jacks?

I needed a jumpstart on my exercise program. I got out of the habit and am now paying for it. So far this week I have done the videos every day and 45 minutes of cardio every day. I also need to get back to logging my food intake and paying more attention to my nutrition. Reinstituting these habits will go a long way toward regaining my health.

My goals for this challenge are to make regular exercise a habit (30 min 5x per week), to be more mindful of what I eat and drink (food journal and adequate water), and to set aside regular time to focus on my health and fitness (spend some time each day - no matter how little - thinking about my health and what I want to accomplish).

I have so many goals, I need to pick a few for the challenge. I'd like to lose at least 8 lbs during this challenge. I'd like to meet all the fitness goals I've set for myself (5 days per week, 30 cardio and 30 strength training) and I want to complete all the videos!

I have been sporadic in my weight loss efforts. I am healthy, but I really want to lose the weight, and not couch it in 'being healthy'. So I am joining this challenge with that in mind, to slim down to a more healthy weight.

My goal is to kickstart my workouts and nutrition from the Holiday fudge-fest where I acted out with anything placed in my trough. I want to lose 10-15 lbs of fat during the 28 days, dropping at least 1-2 " off my waist, and clicking down to a 25% Body Fat. This is a great way to start 2011! emoticon

I'm starting the 28-Day challenge to get started on losing the 30 pounds that I have been trying to lose for a year now. I seem to have stalled out at around 170 (give or take 2-3 pounds, and usually on the high side) for the past year and I really just want to get back down to what I consider to be a much healthier weight. I am active, but sporadic, due to my life: very busy work schedule, very busy daughter! But, I know that if I could just stick to a workout plan, that would be a good start on the weight loss. My ultimate goal for this first week (Starting today 1/6/11) is to lose 2 pounds and to hit all the workout goals. Not to skip a day just because my schedule doesn't allow for it. So, here we go! Today, I will do my 30 minutes of cardio!

Getting healthy is very important to me. I have put it on my back burner for a few years now but it is time to take it by the reigns and get in gear. I am consider obese (although I don't feel it) according to my BMI until I lose 19 lbs. I know that it is possible because I have done it in the past but I was struggling last year to stay focused. I already feel great this year just in the past few weeks. It has nothing to do with losing weight because I have not weighed myself yet but I my mindset is a lot better. I am here for me and indirectly my family.

I would love to look better but I want to FEEL better.

I would like to start Week 1 over..my plans were sabatoged by the children that failed to plan!! I have been pulled in fifty directions due to science projects and history term papers being worked on at the last minute, throw in dance and indoor soccer and I've been in my car more than my house all week..I hate the feeling of "catch up" versus "start over and do it right". Does anyone know if I can reset my start of the boot camp so it shows I am on week 1/4??

Just wanted to say that I'm proud of everyone that's signed up for this challenge!! It's not always easy to commit to a challenge like this, especially if it's super cold where you live. SparkPeople have really made it a lot easier to get motivated. Although I've been working out the last few months, it's a struggle not to get in a rut. This new challenge has got me excited, because I'm challenged to be active everyday which makes each day a little easier to exercise.
My goals: cardio 30 min: 5 X a week
spark video 10 min: every day
ABS 10-15 min: 2 X a week
Strength train : 1-2 X a week

I want to get back to the person I used to be! Last year I was working out and eating right consistently, then a big change in my life occured and I gained it all back. I miss how I felt while working out and eating healthy, I miss being a "go to girl" at work for people who also want to change their lives with exercise. I'm ready to jumpstart my exercise plan and hopefully my weightloss as well!
