It's day 1 for me. I'm taking the challenge to kick-start my weight-loss and fitness goals. I live in a foreign country, away from my motivating girlfriends. I need this structure to push myself, evaluate myself, and of course, celebrate when I complete it! I can do this...I can do this...I can do this (yes, trying to convince myself! ;)).

My goal is to begin a consistent workout regiment. Hopefully at the end of 28 days i have lost 7lbs. That would make me enthusiastic about the 70lbs total I want to lose by next year this time. Good luck everyone emoticon

All I know for sure is that you can do it.Sometimes it is supposed to be hard.For us to figure out later. I have full confidence in you and I don't even know you.I have been doing this for a very short time (two days) and am shocked at how difficult the ten minute workouts are for me.Keep going! You are doing GREAT!!!!!

Day 2 2 days in a row I've walked and posted in my journals! Walking was hard today. After 10 min I was ready to quit and I thought about posting my pitiful effort.

I want to be healthy! And I want to show my type one diabetic that I can be healthy too. I also need to learn how to make one meal for all of us while accomplishing me thinning and my family gaining wait. I of course am the only one in the family that needs to lose weight.

Why I joined? Get back in shape and lose the 22 lbs I gained since getting married six months ago. I need some motivation and structure. My clothing doesn't fit and I want to change that.

I joined this challenge to gain some structure in my workouts. While I've totally overhauled my eating habits, my exercise habits are completely non-existent. I'm hoping with a plan in place, I'll be able to overcome my lazy habits and replace them with more energetic ones.

I've been on SparkPeople for a couple of years now, off and on, but I never really fully committed to the logs for more than a week or two, so I'm really trying to do it full out this time, and hoping this Bootcamp challenge will help with that! Am trying to start exercising again after my very good friend and walking partner was killed a couple of months ago. I really would like to lose 5lbs doing this challenge. I have 20 to lose but am taking it in 5lb increments. emoticon
Day 1 was yesterday. I did the 1st bootcamp video last night, crunchless core and walked 40 minutes on treadmill. Hope I can stick with it!

Hello,
I joined this challenge in order add more to my cardio in hopes of losing 1 to 2 lbs a week. I am hoping this challenge will get give me the motiviation I need in order to incorporate some strength training into the jogging/biking/walking routine I have currently being doing since January 2011.

HI;everyone I joined this challenges because I hope I will loose at least 1-2 lbs. a week. I am terrible at keeping at exercising so I hope I will like to exercise when I am done the program. I will need lost of encouragement because I am a slacker,so please help me. I don't want to start officially until Sunday. That way I am starting with Day 1.

I am currently 185lbs i am getting married june 14th i want to at least be 160lbs by june 1st. I just had a baby nov 2nd so i know i need to be patient, but i am working very hard to lose the weight by exercising 45 minutes daily and eating right

I've just come back to being on SP actively after a long illness that ended me in the hospital for 5 days two wks before Christmas. I lost 35 lbs during my illness and I need to tone up my body as i've been unable to exercise before this!

I would also like to lose 5 lbs during this 28 day bootcamp

I am excited for the 28-Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge! I want to turn exercise in to a habit instead of something I forget to do and then put off for two weeks at a time. The more I do it the more it will become a regular part of my day instead of something I tend to find excuses and reasons to not do it. I'm excited to get started!

I am here to refocus my eating habits and find the right fitness level. I am currently doing cardio 5x a week for 30 mins and I do strength training 15 mins 4x a week. I can feel a difference but the scale is not moving which means I need to eat better and maybe increase my cardio to an hour.

I love doing new things like attending festivals, traveling, trying new foods. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I don't have much of a social life right now, which is part of my problem.

Same as a lot of you - I have about 10-15 tricky pounds to lose.

I'm about 149lbs right now, and am attending a wedding on March 19 and am running a 5k on March 12 (which I haven't been training for yet).

So, plan:

- Eat 1200-1600 calories / day (obviously a bit more when there's strenuous exercise), and can go over the calorie limit with a couple of beers on March 5 (I'm hosting a party), March 12 (at the post-race party), and at the wedding. Otherwise, only eating clean and healthy. And on party days I'll have to make sure that the beer doesn't lower my eating inhibitions. No deep-fried junk allowed.

- Run 4-6x / week
- Walk 6x / week
- Do weights 2-4x / week
- Do yoga at least once / week
- Play soccer on Mondays

March 13-18: do spinning classes and cut down on salt and flour.

Do this challenge!

I am here to get back on track. I love to dance and we teach ballroom dance for 8 weeks 2 times per year. I plan on using some practice sessions here at home for at least 10 minutes per day to get to where I enjoy excercising again.
