I'm joining this challenge to help reach my goal. I'll be starting Zumba within the next couple of weeks. I need a challenge to keep me motivated. My ultimate goal is to get down to 150 lbs by this summer.

I'm doing this challenge because I need to get back into shape and lose some weight. My goal is to lose 62 pounds by next september, but of course I want to make sure the loss is healthy so any progress really is exciting. I also want to raise my muscle tone, because I've lost a lot of it. I am busy with University, community service, and work, but I need to stop putting my fitness on the back burner. And then there's the soda and chocolate (the only two foods i can't seem to resist). lol

I'm joining this challenge because I really need something to get me back into exercising again. I've managed to get a grip on my out-of-control eating, but find that making the time to exercise just hasn't been happening.

I've got two kids at home, and work ten hour days away from the home, but I can find ten minutes a day to do this, right?! :D

I'm joining this challenge as a way to jump start my good habits again. Last year this time I was really motivated and worked out everyday. I've fallen off track and thought working to reach a goal in i group might be the push I need.

I am joining this challenge to kick myself into shape. I have been very down since leaving the military, and instead of turning to my trusty friend food, I want to change my habits and turn to working out as a comfort! What better way then a workout challenge?

If I am ever going to get serious about getting healthy, I might as well start by going to bootcamp! My New Year's resolution was to track...track everything..track food, track exercise, track thoughts, feelings,..everyday. So far...so good.
Joining a bootcamp for my exercise goals...will help me track wisely!

The year 2013 is my year for tracking; tracking food, tracking movement, tracking feelings, tracking thoughts. I am a work in progress, I do not have to be perfect.

Hi, I am joining this challenge because I am hosting a Biggest loser competition at work and thought this would be a great way to lose my ten pounds by Feb. 14. I do a lot of cardio such as the Biggest loser wii and the wii fit challenges. I just need help in the strength training since I can't get to the gym everyday. This should be fun good luck everyone!

In September of 2012, weighing 190 lbs, I made the decision to start working out and adding exercise to my daily routine. I had started and stayed committed to the Insanity Workout and I got amazing results, which was me losing 20 lbs. Now that I know I can accomplish goals if I set my mind to do it, I want to push myself further and I want to be more consistent with my exercise routines and be more aware of what works for me. Now at 170 lbs, my target weight goal is 155 lbs (which would be my weight before I had my 2 year old son).

Even though I do work out regularly, I was intrigued by this boot camp challenge. I thought it could help shake up my normal routine. So, that is my first goal. My second goal is that my hope is it will transcend into my eating habits and encouraging me to eat healthier. My goal during the 28 day challenge is to lose 5 pounds. That may not sound like much to some people but considering that I have been hovering close to 190 lbs for some time, it is alot to me. Stress seems to have become another food group for me and it is my goal to control this demon.

Just finished the day two strength video, and I'm amazed how much those 10 minutes kicked my ass! Hoping to finally lose the baby weight (he's almost 3 now) in time for a summer vacation at the beach!

I started this challenge yesterday and I am hoping by doing it will get me back into the rhythm of everyday exercise! I wouldn't be opposed to at least 8lbs of weightloss either, but this challenge for me is more about developing consistency in my workouts!

I've been on Spark since February, 2012, and met my goal weight. I want to build consistency in exercise and try some new things to do to keep fit. Tried to do the January challenge, but got sick and felt behind all the time! So I quit that and am taking this on because it seems more flexible and pretty much the same style of routine. Looking forward to it!

Hi there to my newest 86,000 plus friends. My name is Veronica. I joined this challenge today as a kick start to my weight loss. I'm getting bigger and bigger everyday. I just can't take it anymore. I joined a gym a couple weeks before Christmas and I was going consistently. Then the holidays showed up and I got wrapped up in all the family fun and stress of getting ready to make my 8 year old's Christmas special.

So, here I am starting over again. I joined Weight Watchers tonight to have the accountability I need, but I also love what Spark People has to offer, so here I am. I'm ready for this challenge. I look forward to reading about your successes.

Taking one day at a time. Sometimes 10 minutes at a time.

I joined because I have trouble being motivated to work out and I think that being part of the team and having a specific schedule and plan will help with that. I don't exercise enough (or really at all) so my goal is to start to be more healthy by exercising.

I plan to loose 15 lbs, loose 3 inches from my hips and waist, be more efficient in my cardio routine by decreasing the time and increasing the resistance and increase my strengthening. I am doing 80-100 min. in cardio and 40 in strengthening, I want to do 60 min cardi0 with the same calories burned and 60 in strengthening with more resistance used.

I need to distribute my calorie consumption throughout the day and eat more food with folate.

Good luck 28 day Spark team boot-campers!

I joined this challenge because I need something to help motivate myself to workout more oftern. I currently workout with a friend, but need to workout when I'm alone as well. We only can get together a couple of times a week sometimes.

Hello! I just started SparkPeople last week and have been doing well in sticking to my meal plans (besides the green tea smoothie yesterday...) I wanted to make sure I could do that before I jumped in anywhere else.

I would like to begin small, following the 10 minute video daily, and work up to fuller, longer workouts. And try to drink the 8 cups of water a day.

I joined this challenge because I want to complete something and have a small accomplishment. My goals include making healthier food choices both at home and at the grocery store (I need to avoid having bad food in the house!), exercising daily, and toning up this month. I can do anything, especially if it's just four weeks, right?

I have forty pounds to lose and I would like to get into shape to run a 5K in the summer. I want toned abs!

A year from now, you will wish you started today.

If you exercised when you first thought about it, you would be finished by now.

Suck it up and one day, you will be able to suck it in. *All quotes from my wise friend who lost 98 pounds.

I am starting over on this goal. I missed too many days while I was commuting and dealing with sinus problems. I still met all my other Spark goals and had a really good week but I really want to do this challenge so here I start again.

My goals:
Short term: Get into the habit of exercising daily. Eat more home-cooked meals rather than take-away. Start eating breakfast. Quit drinking so much Coke and start drinking more water.
Long term: Be generally fitter and healthier. I would like to play a team sport. Go back to my pre-illness weight of 65kg and maintain it.
I am motivated to do this, but know that when it comes to cardio exercise my motivation can wane pretty quickly. I like weights training though.

I am just getting started today, and did one workout for today. I need to lose the belly fat leftover from pregnancy, which should be about 10 pounds or so.

I'm going to try and make exercise a daily habit, even if it's just a few situps or pushups before bed, or a full 20 minute cardio workout. Anything is better than nothing!

I also want to eat better, more healthily, and set a good example for my daughter. :)

I have short term and long term goals. I'm not sure what all to put here. :) Of course one is to finish this challenge. I have been exercising every day for about three weeks now (and loving it) so I'm pretty confident I will finish this.
I have smaller goals to keep drinking enough water, eat breakfast every morning, learn to slow down while eating and drink more green tea.
It would be great if by the end of this I could fit more comfortably into my size 14 jeans. The 16s are too big (I can pull them over my hips while they are buttoned!) but the 14 gets uncomfortable by the end of the day.
I also have the longer term goal of getting down below 160 (not sure how low, but that gets me to a healthy BMI).

I joined this challenge mostly because I have a cruise coming up in March and want to get in better shape before that. I need to seriously tone and if I can drop 10 lbs before then great! I want to lose inches more than anything though.

Goals:
1) Reinvigorate my exercise routine by changing up my cardio and by beginning to include more strength training into my weekly schedule
