Like others we almost always eat dinner together and on the weekend most meals. I love teaching my children to cook. From my grandson (5) who helps set the table and practicing cutting with the butter knife to my oldest son (12) who loves learning to cook. I talk about the reason I have been swapping out foods and they like trying new things. My granddaughters (3 and 2) enjoy sipping my green smoothies. We also are having fun going to the local track to walk with the kids and grands. Even the 3 year old can walk a whole mile.

This week is in the bag...we already eat as a family almost nightly, and with me starting a new job it will be even easier. We have our goals set and we are moving in the right direction, just need to work on the wife's negativity. I have been teaching my daughter how to cook since she was 6, so we are already ahead on that point. So I claiming my trophy today.
