My personal October challenge:


1. 1,000 cardio minutes

2. 4 weeks in October. Alternating each day - pushups or situps.

Week 1 - 10 each day, 10 squats alternating days

10/1- 30 minutes walking (30/1000) 10 squats, 10 situps
10/2- 110 minutes running (140/1000) 10 pushups
10/3- 60 minutes treadmill (200/1000) 10 squats and 10 situps
10/4- boot camp and walking 50 minutes(250/1000) 10 pushups
10/5 Running 45 minutes (295/1000)
10/6- rest
10/7- no cardio- 10 push ups and 10 squats and other ST


Week 2 - 15 each day, 15 squats alternating days

10/8- walking 95 minutes (345/1000) 20 squats and crunches
10/9- 90 minutes running and walking (425/1000)
10/10- 125 minutes running (550/1000) 20 pushups, 20 situps
10/11- 50 minutes walking (600/1000) 20 squats and 20 situps


Week 3 - 20 each day, 20 squats alternating days

10/15- 75 minutes running (675/1000) 20 squats and 20 situps
10/17- 50 minutes walking, 15 minutes swimming. (740/1000)
10/18- 60 minutes running, 30minutes walking, 15 minutes swimming (845/1000)
10/19- 60 minutes walking, 30 minutes swimming (935/1000)

I am continuing with my walking on most school days and even took a longer walk today, but didn't set any other goals and not tracking my walking well.

My personal October challenge:


1. 1,000 cardio minutes

2. 4 weeks in October. Alternating each day - pushups or situps.

Week 1 - 10 each day, 10 squats alternating days
10/1- 30 minutes walking (30/1000) 10 squats, 10 situps
10/2- 110 minutes running (140/1000) 10 pushups


Week 2 - 15 each day, 15 squats alternating days
Week 3 - 20 each day, 20 squats alternating days
Week 4 - 25 each day, 25 squats alternating days

My first goal is to NOT FALL OFF THE WAGON! I have a tendancy to do that after 3 weeks.

880 minutes of exercise for the month of October (Turbofire)
Track food daily here or in my book
Take stairs at work (5th floor)
I'll get onboard with the pushups and situps!

My personal October challenge:

1. 1,000 cardio minutes
2. Cardio 27/31 days (1 DOR/week)
3. Daily squats, alternating situps/wall pushups
Oct 1 to 9 - 10 per day
Oct 10 to 16 - 15 per day
Oct 17 to 23 - 20 per day
Oct 24 to 31 - 25 per day
4. On "wall pushups day", at least TRY a regular pushup.

ETA: changing ##2 - gonna work out 25 days/mo - making it a SMART goal - Specific, Measurable, ATTAINABLE, Realistic, and Time-Sensitive.

1. Pledge a number of minutes you think you can do and record minutes each day and try to meet or beat your pledge.

2. 4 weeks in October. Alternating each day - pushups or situps.
Week 1 - 10 each day
Week 2 - 15 each day
Week 3 - 20 each day
Week 4 - 25 each day

So you do situps one day and then the next day you do pushups. For those that need more of a challenge with the amount, just do 2 or 3 sets that day.
If you want to add in squats too, I think those could be done everyday.
