Thanks for sharing your experience with the game. I think I'll get this one next.
I just bought the Michael Jackson Experience last week, and it's a lot of fun, but I practically kill myself playing it. I have severe asthma, and it's too fast paced for me to do more than 1 or 2 songs at a time. I did 3 one day and I was wheezing even with my ventolin...couldn't stop. The fact that I laugh so hard playing it doesn't help either, lol. I have two left feet and a horrible sense of direction. I can't see the little cards that show what to do so I try to follow the back up dancers. I'm always going in the opposite direction, which means I'm usually facing one of the dancers, lol, and with some of the moves, it looks like I'm trying to kill them, lol.
I love Kinect Sports because I can do all of the games when I'm OK, and bowling and table tennis even when my asthma is a bit out of control (but not when it's all the way out of control). I love carnivals, so I thought I might like that game.
I sure wish they'd come out with an adventure game soon. I think that would be a blast.

Never give up.

I would check out Amazon to find Yoostar 2. The reviews are mixed. Most people seem to agree it is a fun party game, but not the same picture/sound quality as the trailers show for it.

As for Zumba, I would try out the free demo, which you can download from the Xbox Marketplace. The reviews on Amazon seem mixed as well. The one nice feature of Zuma is being able to workout online with people. There are a few people on this team that play it too.

Where do you find Yoostar 2?

I have been to the store and picked up Carnival Games 3 times and keep putting it back. I am scared off by Zumba!

If you are looking for more party games, Yoostar 2 also looks like it would be a blast in a party.

As for this game, it is still pretty fun for me. It reminds me of Kinect Sports, but with a bunch of mini games instead of several mini games based off of four sports. (BTW Kinect Sports is also a great party game; you can have lots of folks trying to compete).

I've been curious about this because I keep seeing it advertised on xbox (the videos tend not to play well for me so I didn't bother trying to watch it). Sounds like fun, and will help me expand my "party game" collection as I don't have many Kinect games suitable for that (or many Kinect games at all for that matter. lol).

I've been curious about this game because it looked fun. I was nervous about the only 20 activities, but I got a gift card and thought it might be worth a shot.

Overall, I'm really glad to have picked it up. So far, all the activities seem really fun. It doesn't seem like a small amount because they encourage you to beat your score and earn tickets and prizes. Kind of like being at Chucky Cheese. Some activities take a little bit of practice to get used to, but most of them are natural and fun. Brings you back to the day of the local carnival games.

It supports 1-2 players locally with no online play or leaderboards. I had my parents over and it is pretty easy to step in and out to play as a party type game. There really is a good variety of games to play here, including: swinging, throwing, balancing, dancing, granny shots, and more. Most of the activity is mild.
