Did another strenght training today do thatr is 3 days of strength training. I still have about 4.5 miles to do for this week will get that in later.

Bike ride sounds good MSTINKERBELL I may try that tomorrow.

Went on a 5 mile bike ride today and did a back workout at the gym today.

I had a 1.7 gain last week. I blame it on the homemade doughnuts that I had bought at an amish auction. I couldn't resist them.
I am back on track. My allergies have flamed up which makes my asthma act up. I am exercising like I was just at a slower pace. I believe that I will have a weight loss this week.

Ok last night did two more miles in addition to the two in the morning. This morning I did another two.

so that is 3 tuesday, 4 on Wednesday and so far 2 on Thursday. Well I think I have completed my 9 miles, altough i will be doing at least 1 more tonight.

Tomorrow and Sunday will be my strength training days.

Also I will weigh in for the first time in weeks, and I am very nervous. But I have to face the music, i'm ready though......

I am up and on the move again!! Finally! completed 4.75 miles yesterday and strength training. That is a total of 2 days strength training and i have also given my goodie yesterday. Looking forward to later this evening again hitting the road again. It feel good to be back to myself again..YAY!!!

So I stayed the same this past weekend, no weight lost. It's been hard to get motivated to exercise this week. It's been SO hot here....plus 30 celsius and over the last couple of days. All my exercise is walking and/or at home (no a/c) workouts. I'm going to have to rethink things a little....here's hoping this weekend brings a loss...if only by sweat! lol

The sad thing is that I had gotten as low as 149.4lbs during the week. Then suddenly I went up to 154lbs. Water weight I think, because as you can see I'm back at 151 lbs.

I had been sick and hadn't walked since last Tuesday and i was beginning to go through withdrawal! emoticon I will do strength tonight as i won't be able to get out and walk, but i will hit the path tomorrow evening! I'm getting so close to meeting the 15lb loss- I can TASTE the success (heehee)!!

I am really excited because I just couldn't get under the 200 lb mark, then last week I walked a total of nine miles, drank lots of water and started the South Beach Diet (SBD). When I weighed myself this morning I was 197.7 Whoo Hoo!!!! I am lovin' the SBD, and I use Sparkpeople to make sure I am eating the right amount of calories.

While I didn't reach last weeks 12 mile walking goal, I am still very proud of myself for the walking I accomplished- It definately made a difference.

I had WI this morning and lost 3.2!!!! I have made my 15Ibs challenge and then some!! However, i did not meet my 12 miles this week as i was not feeling well...only got in 6 miles and missed two days of work. Ugh...oh well...i was excited to meet my goal. Summer is always hardest to lose. My saving grace has been my husband who decided to also eat better, so this week we cut out all soda and eating out. He's been cooking chicken and fish on the grill every night with steam fresh veggies on the side for dinner. And since it's done when I get home from work, NO TEMPTATIONS!

Ok I have not been doing well on this challenge at all. At first I was ready and rearing to go, but I have been terrible the whole 16 days in July that have already past. So far since the start of the challenge i only lost 4 pounds, and I doubt I will lose 12 pounds in two weeks. I am getting back on track but I am really dissappointed in myself. I need to make sure I spark every day becuase I definetely need the encouragement.

I'm not doing so good with this challenge! At this point I'm just hoping to lose 5 lbs. During the whole month of June I lost a total of .4 lbs! Arrrgghhh! I'm exercising plenty so it must be what I'm eating. I'm meeting with my nutritionist next week to discuss changes because what I'm doing is obviously not working!

We are coming to the tail end of the Memorial Day Challenge. It is time to start thinking about our next challenge. Losing 15lbs in 9 weeks seemed very reasonable. If one averaged 2lbs per week, one might even lose 18lbs.

So here is the challenge....

Lose 15lbs in 9 weeks.
Weigh-ins begin on June 1st.
Final Weigh-ins for end of challenge on July 31st
