Fish oil tends to work on my joints. I have arthritis and the fish oil suplements make them feel wonderful

Beause I have been fighting my lazy bum, I just finished week 6 day 1 yesterday.
That KICKED MY BUTT! I had a really hard time keeping up.
I may need to repeat week 5 to get in a better place to keep up.

Maybe.... We shall see.

W6D1 done - hardest leg was #6 - after that I seemed to get a second wind. Not as bad as I thought. I'm thinking Week 7 is going to be my toughie...

Day2Week6 done. I have to say I have been able to do this but it hasn't been easy. I might stay with this week for two weeks. I guess I'll decide at the beginning of next week.

emoticon for this post! I haven't done W6D1 yet and have been wondering if I can deal with only ONE minute of walking and 8 sets of walk/run. Good to know how someone else coped. I'll be going for it tomorrow... emoticon

I just came back in the house after completing Week 6 Day 2! What an awesome feeling. At the beginning of this training I NEVER thought I'd be able to carry through with this, but I am and I will. I am doing the Virtual 5 K but I have signed up for my first real 5K at my Y at the end of April. And, I am a school teacher and I am joining my girls (5th graders) at the Girls on the Run closing race which I think is a 5K, not sure. It is at a local small stadium. Wow am I psyched... must be that runner's high thing people talk about.

I agree with Suezette, WTG on completing W6D1! That is awesome!

I did mine too, but like I told Suezette last week, I knew that I needed a bit more than 1 min of walking to recover. So I started out with taking the walks at 90 sec each. That worked until the last 3 runs, then I had to go back to the 2 min between each. I feel proud that I accomplished the 8 runs and I know that it will get stronger each time!

Yay! You made it to week 6!!

Ha ha! Tell me about it! I did 3:1 intervals for my entire marathon and on the back end of the marathon, the 3 minutes of running took forever and the 1 minute walking felt like I just stopped running....I can so relate!

Keep it up! You're doing great!!

Goodness, on the first week running for 60 seconds I was out of breath and it seemed like it took forever..., now running the 3 minutes followed by 60 seconds of rest, that 60 seconds of rest is just zipping right by.
Completed Week 6 Day 1- My joints are feeling a little stiff, does anyone use the glucosomine chrondroitin for their joints, interested in feed back if this would help them stay lubed or less stiff.
Go sparkers we are doing it!
Can't believe how much we are all progressing.
