Day 1 complete, not without a struggle. Did 1.8 miles. 5k on Sunday, let's see if I break my time record of 47 min! (I'm better outdoors than on a treadmill)

Start Week 3 tomorrow. Any pointers? This is the farthest I've gotten into the program after numerous attempts. Less focus on speed and time has lessened shin splints.

Did day 1 last night. Dang that was hard but I did it. Those 3 minutes of walking seem to go by faster than the 2 minutes of jogging.

Happy that I got in my first day okay. I have been sick, but feel much better. I did take it a little easy on the speed today, but managed to get through my first day for week 3 okay. Feeling stronger.

On week 3 with one run to go :)

Starting to see issues ahead with meeting friends / family and not getting my run in. I work near family/ friends but then I have a commute home.... Unfortunately they are not in a position to run with me.

Will have to be sure to put my running time as a priority

Started Week 3 this morning. I have to say, it's easier than week 2. I think my legs are getting used to this whole running thing. I went 3.1 miles this morning, so I know I can complete a 5k!

Starting week 3 tomorrow. Week 2 went great, hoping that will be true of this week as well. The only issue I've come across is that the running pace that feels the most natural to me is too fast to sustain the entire duration, therefore I have to pay attention the entire time I'm running to not run too fast. Any recommendations from others?

Week 3 went well. I have new running shoes that help a lot. I went to the runners store and had them check my gait and they gave me the perfect shoes. I had to stop in my 6th and 7th interval for a few seconds, but other than that all went well!

Suffered with abscessed tooth all weekend. But nice walk for and hour on Sun and Mon and a good 5k training walk jog on Tues , so still on track for my virtual race in a few weeks. stamina is improving all the time. Some weight loss but have had to move belt notch twice.
