I agree with Eldorado Mom. Just keep going. It's supposed to be more than a week before you start to lose your progres, so I'd say, just keep you break to a minimum. As soon as you start feeling better, get going again. You might even find that the break does you good and gives you a nice rest for your muscles.

No problem. Just keep moving forward at a comfortable pace. It took me twice as long to complete because I only ran 2 runs/week instead of 3 - and frequently pushed the runs out a few days as well. 'Still turned out great and I rank the entire first 5K I participated in. Don't wear yourself out training.

Have fun on the 21st.

Yesterday was supposed too be week 5, day 1. I was really tired so I decided to do the run today and just did some walking last night. Today, I am feeling worse, I am definitely coming down with something. I am on day 50 of a 100 day fitness streak so I will do some fitness today; but, I don't think I can run for 30 minutes.

So, if I miss my runs this week, do I have to start the five weeks over? Or, can I restart this week next week? My race is the 21st, thankfully I am signed up as a walker; but, I don't want my four previous weeks work.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
