Thanks, KMRJPR. My weight is going way slower than I'd like. The big bummer is my scale broke and when I received my new one, my weight is higher. I think my starting weight may have been higher as well.

Glad to see another "face" posting healthy choices... which lead to healthy habits.

I am proud at my perseverance with keeping up with my goals- especially with my scale not going down as fast as I would like. Running is getting slightly easier. The right shoes has helped. I have high hopes that I will be able to run another marathon. I ran marathons in 2005 and 2006...pre-child. Training takes up a lot of time. I work part time so truthfully, I can make the time to train....

Anyhoo, today I -

Thanks for the motivation with this thread :)

I've been sick all week (autoimmune flair-up?)

Even so, I managed to do my yoga video twice this week, and went swimming Friday night at the hotel.

Today there's an O-meet I've been really really wanting to do, but, it's cold out, and I'm still sick. I'm still weighing that decision. We're both pretty wiped out from the road trip to Duluth this weekend.

On another positive note, I am soooo proud of myself on the road trip snacks :) Instead of the usual potato chips and snickers in large quantities, I bought sourdough pretzels, baby carrots, 2 bananas, Terra chips, and one candy for each of us - Donald had a Nut Goodie, and I had a Salted Nut Roll. The cool part is...that salted note roll lasted me almost the entire weekend :) Bought two more candy bars for the drive home (we tried stopping 4 different places for dinner on Valentine's Day - it just didn't work out, so we just pushed through driving for home. Nutritionally not great, but not the eating disaster road trips usually are! So, another Nut Goodie for Donald (who is a string bean) and a Ritter Sport Bar for me. Came home with most of the carrots eaten, the bananas gone, and half the pretzels left over :)

Now drinking tea, and figuring out my game plan for the day.

My weight has gone up slightly. I need to eat closer to 1200 calories to lose... and need to bump up my exercise.

Trying to get 10,000 steps a day. I came up short yesterday, so revised goal to 70,000 steps per week. Off to the gym for an early workout. Goal is to go 5x this week.
