I walked 2.5 miles today. It took me 43:50 to finish it and I'm going to see if my time goes down as the challenge continues.

I've started moving this week. Today I worked out 45 minutes with swimming and aerobic dancing. After reading these posts I think I'll shoot for 2.4 miles a day this week (4 times around my block). I feel great! What a relief to go to bed satisfied that I reached my movement goals rather than bloated with nighttime eating!

I've actually been walking more than I originally intended. I've hit a minimum of 1.25 per day with a max of 4 miles per day. It feels pretty good to move and when I'm not moving as much I'm feeling it.

so i did stand most of the day at work yesterday. and i also walk a mile. tonite i won't be walking. have to mow my grass. its a rider. but i am going to stand most of the day at work.

I'm shooting for a total of 4 miles a day (my fitbit tracks it)

good morning all. did my first mile yesterday. ughhh. it will only get easier from here. oh yea, i set up my sit to stand work station. so my goal at work to day is to stand more than i sit.

Im in. I will walk one mile (at least) a day for 5 days. I will also get up every hour at work and move around for a bit. I do realize that my sedimentary lifestyle is slowly killing me. I will check in (I guess here) every day. Who's with me?
