Oh thank you. I have a lot of stories I would love to write for you all. That's if you all don't mind reading them. Or giving me any kind of feed back.

This is my new challenge to you all. September 23 is the first day of Autumn for the Northern Hemisphere. So my challenge is this: I want you all to find peace and tranquility in the day. It can be small or big. I want you to describe the scene and how you felt. What you thought about in that moment. Let that moment take you in and hold you there. Just be mindful of your surroundings.

I would like you all to explain the experience. Give it details. Just say what comes to your mind.

This is my story for the day.

I felt like crap all day. I had a headache that couldn't go away. I was hungry even though I ate. I was sweating. I just felt miserable. I just didn't feel like being at work. I wanted to be in bed and stay in bed for the whole day. I was waiting on a customer and I noticed the sky. Before hand, it was gloomy, dark, rainy. I kept saying to myself, I don't want to go outside. I might melt. Oh hell, I told myself, I am not the sweet. Then the phrase, the witch is dead, the witch is dead came to my mind and I started laughing at myself. I just wasn't feeling the day at all.

I looked at the sky when I was waiting on a customer. I mentioned to him that the sky has an eerie but cool looking look to it. The customer told me that a storm was on the way. I said well, then this is the calm before the storm. He just smiled and said yep. So I went out after him to look at it. I thought, oh this is weird, I haven't seen a yellowish orange sky in awhile. So I went back inside and called for a co-worker to come out and look at the sky.

We both went out. We looked up at the yellowish orange sky and noticed two rainbows. I stood there for a bit just looking. I didn't feel cold or hot. I felt peaceful and I felt like I wanted to dance. Dance to the tune inside my head, my heart. The smell was so sweet like when you cut grass. The colors looked so crisp. The greens looked greener. The colors just seemed as if they were in 3-D.

In that time, every pain in my body, every ache seem to go away. Just float to another plain. Somewhere else. I felt free, even for a moment in time. I didn't feel like I had nothing to worry about. I came inside and just got into my work cleaning the lumber yard. I waited on a few more customers and we started talking about the sky. I shared what I saw, they shared the same to me. We all noticed that the sky in the east turn to a greyish, purple, pink hue. Just breathtaking. Then to the west was the yellowish orange sky. This time with grey colored clouds that looked more like smoke in the sky. We all looked and it seemed to me we all had that same peaceful, relaxing experience that made the night even more bearable.
