I'm 62.2 kg (137 pounds) and happy: just the middle of my maintenance range.

Goal weight:
59 +- 1 kg /// 130 +-2 pounds
CET (Europe, Hungary)

Maintenance Lessons Learned:
-go on with the healthy lifestyle learned in weight loss phase
-just add healthy foods gradually to stop losing
-work out every day - 30-60 minutes is enough to maintain weight and good mood
-do not try to balance overeating by extreme workouts, it is not going to work
-avoid overeating, instead of satisfaction you get stronger cravings

This is my first post and I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. My goal is to weigh in every Sunday. I started eating "right" on Thursday so I wasn't expecting much, but I seem to have lost 4.5 lbs! I'm afraid to get too excited for fear it was a fluke or something!

Good morning everyone!

Week 2 here. Happy to report I lost another 7 pounds! Thats 14 pounds all together in 2 weeks!!! Got my nose to the grindstone and ain't lookin up!!! I'm going to brace myself for my plateau... it's going to come soon if not this week....

I actually hate having Sunday morning as an official weekly weigh in day, but I am on another group with a weekly weigh in challenge, and everyone there agreed to Sunday. So, Sunday it is. Besides, what I hate about it is that it forces me to be more careful with what I eat on Saturday, so actually, it's a good thing.

So, here goes.

Jan 1: 284.4
Jan 8: 281.0 (-3.4)
Jan 15: 274.6 (-6.4) totally ROCKED that scale this week!!!
Jan 22: 272.8 (-1.8) My cumulative loss for Jan so far is 11.6lbs!!!!
Jan 29: 272.0 (-0.8)

TOTAL LOSS FOR JANUARY: 12.4lbs!

Hi everyone! My name is Leslie and I like to weigh in on Sunday, because it is the beginning of the week, even though I will be weighing again on Monday at work. We started our own Biggest Loser at work and we pay $1 to weigh. The initial start was $20. There is a weekly prize to the person who lost the most, and the Biggest Loser in the end gets the big pot of all the $20's. When I started Spark People in 2011 my beginning weight was 271. Here are my updates: January 1, 2012 (266) and January 8, 2012 (265). It is slowly coming off, but I will evaluate and keep it going.
