i lost 4 pounds my first week and i even started very late in the week so i ate really really good, at least better and less than usual, and exercised everyday (the same one) and i did it. we all did it. only 4 of many but it is still an accomplishment. one day at a time.

Well I managed some of the strength vids and 4 aerobic sessions so it has to be better than nothing right? And guess what - I put on 400g - WHAT!! and that was with tracking food...I blame the time of the month....

In week 1, I lost the 3 pounds I gained over the holidays.
Now I am starting out the year at my lowest weight in 2011 and know I can shed more pounds this year if I continue to really work hard at it. emoticon
Now when my leg muscles are sore it reminds me that what I'm doing is working. Every hunger pang is a welcome signal to me that I'm not overeating. I'll continue to attend Zumba even when I feel tired because I feel so good after the workout and it's helping me lose weight and tone up.
We can do it!

It's hard to believe, but the mild weather we've had in the northeast has allowed me some outside walking over the last couple of weeks...so that's helped in this January Jumpstart! I am close to goal and hope to reach it in the next week or so! Keep up the great work Sparklers and I know we will all have a terrific year!

Woohoo! Week 1 is done already! Let's just take it one day at a time. I'm happy to report that not only did I meet all of my goals, but I even earned some trophies already. Let's keep up the good work!

Yay! So nice to hear all the great first week accomplishments,. I will finish tomorrow cause I started on Monday but I had a great week too. I feel back in the groove and I'm already thinking of what to do after this month. I will be training to walk a 10 K April 15th so this is a perfect way to start out again.

I'm a day behind and won't finish week one until tomorrow but feel great so far. I have little ones in my home and when I do my workout when they are here they all join in. It is a great inspiration for me.

ENIELSEN1, you have your tracker set to show how much you lost. It'll keep that updated for you, every time you track weight from the start page. But if you want to change it to show your actual weight, you need to switch the tracker settings.

I am really liking the 10 minutes a day. It's probably no more than I was doing, but I would do it all in a workout or two, so I didn't have that constant daily body awareness of yesterday's exercise. I like it!

Off to a slow start as far as inches and weight loss, hoped for more. But I'm not a quitter. emoticon How do I get my scale to show that I am at 178.8 now?

Wow -- I checked my calorie differential (something I normally don't track, but which is provided on the Android app), and if it's correct, I should be losing weight at a faster rate than I had anticipated! If I can stick with this program, I think I might reach the halfway point to my goal weight in time for vacation. All these extra video workouts really are making a difference! ^_^
