What an awesome 2nd week! The videos have become habitual after morning breakfast but before work. It's a great way to start the day, getting all the "kinks" out of the joints and stretching the muscles. The lower body sculpting and seated core videos are my favorite. I completed those a couple of times extra. I feel improved posture as a result.

Well - I haven't really lost weight but I am not worrying about it ( I keep reminding myself of that) I am only15 lbs from my goal weight (what will give me a healthy BMI) but I have lost 64 lbs since I started changing my life in May 2010 and I'm celebrating that.

This week my husband has mentioned a few times in passing about the muscles in my back and arms _ WHOOOHOOOO _ I know it is doing these videos. I have been very good about cardio but didn't know how to tackle strength. I am loving the videos.

Today I really worked it though. I forgot the Day 7 video was crunches. I also had to do the crunch less ab work out as that was my video pick of the week. It's okay - I feel terrific and strong. Looking forward to a healthy dinner with my husband and a small sweet treat.

I'm feeling good about my fitness minutes this month so far! I walked/jogged a little in a 5k race today (appropriately called the Frozen Buns Run as it was below freezing during the race). Woo-hoo! I've never done a race in the winter before and it was invigorating! So glad I went for it! I was able to get all my videos and cardio in this week, thanks to the Seated Cardio workout! I tweaked my knee earlier in the week and wanted to lay low for a few days so I could get that walk in today! All turned out well!

This week was hard to get up every morning and do my exercises, but I self talked my way to them. Today I finished the second iteration of my bonus video. Hooray! I did the bootcamp video day 2 because it was already one of the ones on my You Tube search and it can be a difficult process searching You Tube from the TV remote.

I suppose if I am going to spend the money eating out, when I do I should just have a subway sub where they have all the nutritional info right there for you, lol. Today my family wants to get together for dinner at Pizzapopolis. I know the calories will just continue to rack up there.

I am having a hard time sticking to the exercise this week. I have posted food eaten on the food tracker for the last three days but it's really limited because I can't just throw food info on there where I only know the name of what I ate and no other info. Yesterday I had leftover General Tzao's chicken, I got from the walmart deli, for breakfast. Then I had a Buffalo chicken wrap and waffle fries with cheese for a late lunch. I know, really healthy, but that's what I had. I forgot about the beer I had at the bar too. And the bar was Sidelines. It used to be a BW3 but they changed to Sidelines. I used the BWs Chicken wrap though because it's like that and I didn't have any other information. I also couldn't log the waffle fries because there was no other option except maybe frozen waffle fries or chik-fil-a...lol however you spell that. It's a challenge but I'm trying. For breakfast this morning, my calories look like a ton just for breakfast. I'm actually unsure about the serving size, so those amounts are probably off, I was just estimating. Maybe once I get into the habit of doing this I will pay more attention to serving size and the details.

I did well this week and completed it. I did have to do 3 videos this morning as I hadn't done yesterdays and the extra one plus the one today, but it went well anyway. I did the 11 minute sitting cardio workout which was excellent. Hope everyone is enjoying this and onto week 3 I go emoticon emoticon

Hi All,

I added SparkPeople Bootcamp Video (Day 2) - 7mins and SparkPeople 10-Minute Cardio Kickboxing Workout Video as my bonus videos for this week. I've done these videos before and I've always like the workout I get with them. I love the burn!!

Take care! For those of you who have it...have a great 3 day weekend. Peace!!

I managed to get my extra videos in - I did the chair core workout yesterday, and today a lower body workout with the stability ball (which was a lot of fun!). Worked hard trudging to work in a snowstorm yesterday, but it looks like the side walks have been ploughed today. I'll just have to try and stay warm as it feels like -31. Brrrrrr!

I was also able to track most of my food, and I more or less stayed within the limits. Here's hoping for a successful week three!

I had an up and down kind of week. On the plus side, I can tell I'm losing a little of the holiday weight, I could tell that I was improving at my cardio video, and I didn't give up.
On the minus side, I was tired and my energy level when working out seemed lower. I also had a little trouble and frustration with finding and using videos on here. I ended up liking the 10 minute kickboxing cardio vid. Overall, a good week. I hope I can make it through this three day weekend without two steps back.

made it through the week! I take a weight lifting class on Tuesday & Thursday so saved the spark videos for today to avoid working the same muscles 2 days in a row. I did the seated ab video yesterday and the rest of the videos today. I added the 10 min. jump start cardio work out this week. It was a nice heart pumping 10 minutes.
Onto week 3! Great job all! emoticon

Did my extra videos (thought I wasn't going to fit them in but my m-i-l was transferred from the hospital to rehab (much closer to our home) so I got the extra minutes I needed). I can't believe I made it through week two despite being on the road 3 extra hours and spending at least 5 hours each day at the hospital PLUS classes started this week so I had to go back to work. What proof of the truthfulness of being able to do whatever you set your mind to.

Hopefully for week 3 I do not have to sacrifice sleep for exercise. Congrats to all who made it through despite curve balls being thrown at us daily. emoticon
