this week's goals: keep up with the 7 day workouts. i am doing extra walking at work so i am burning some extra calories. i found some new exercsie videos so that should also help my cardio. i already eat a lot of fruits and veggies. portion control and mindful eating are bigger challenges. and next month my challenge is going to be my next 30 days of Befit.

Haven't really lost much weight, HOWEVER, I feel stronger and more motivated! Plant his week is to get in at least 315 minutes of exercise this week! emoticon

I am on day 3 of week three. I did 10 extra min on the treadmill today and yesterday. I like the videos and will probably continue most of them when the challenge is over.

I am starting week 3 this week. Looking foward to doing some different exercises. Haven't been able to wakl due to weather. I have been doing the workouts in the series for this challeng and also trying to find different thigns to do.

I started my third week with a 225 minute walk around the mall near our place and 100 minutes of aerobics. I really couldn't be more happier because the weighting scale emoticon negatively shifted less emoticon five pounds this morning. I am watching my diet not to ruin my health goals. Indeed, I'm proud of myself for coming this far of this January month fitness challenge. I can't wait for the end week to start and then will do some endurance and learn some more fitness exercises to tone and shape my muscles. I guess will do yoga and tai chi too. I will reward myself with buying some exercise gadgets, and I love being happy emoticon along the journey till the end goal. emoticon

Discipline is not a myth, but could be a reality,so do something about it, well, health wise that is.
It's real T O U G H L O V E for myself that I have too endure just to make me happy in this health journey towards bringing out my BEST !

Exercising is not my problem. I have lots of energy. No will power to say no to bad food. But yesterday I did it. I ate lots of healthy food. Fruits and veggies. Yes.

Did my week 3 day 1 video and then for the "amped" up cardio I did Jillian Michael's 30 day shred level 1...... emoticon

I plan to extend 2 of my runs this week to over 4 miles. I also plan to crosstrain on the bike at the gym for one of my cardio workouts. We're going camping this weekend, so I will do a hike for one of my cardio workouts.

I didn't get a week three video and I cannot click on the link to see what week three entails. Anyone have any suggestions? I did the upper body work out this morning, but I'd like to be able to "see" what week three involves!

Just started week three and sorted out all the new cardio videos that I found on Sparkpeople and saved them.
I love the new kickboxing one and the seated cardio so went for this.
I feel more energetic this week and can do more as well.

I didnt get one either but you can see the week 3 updaye under the challange page, try to add an extra 10 minutes to your cardio, and add more fruits and vegetables this week

Week 3 Day 1- Cardio was great I have more endurance than week 1. I also did Jillian Michaels kickboxing fastfix 20 minute boxing workout and Wii gold's gym boxing workout for 25 minutes. I feel so much more energized. emoticon

Pushed myself to work out this morning even though I really wanted to stay in bed. After 15 minutes is got easier and I ended up exercising for 55 minutes. Added 5 more minutes of exercise on my lunch break. I can now do 15 standing push ups using the counter top in the break room. A couple weeks ago, I could only do two. I am making progress!

Day one of my week 3 in the challange, did so well last week and was a little bummed this morning when I weighed myself and found I did not drop one pound last week .but not gonna let it get to me and tell my self muscle weighs more then fat so thats why:-) Gonna push it hard this week and just keep going and hope that next Monday's weigh in brings different results emoticon

week 3 day2, adding thera-band to my walking workout as my"increase the intensity". will try and add 10 min cardio on my usual off days. Will have to make a real effort to get the 5-9 servings of fruit and veggies. I usually eat 2 fruits and 2 veggies. Made a veggie stir fry tonight so I am covered for today!!

Week 3, Day 1 : Celebrating that I've reached the halfway point! In the last two weeks I have noticed that I have gotten "stronger". My breathing is better during my cardio and the moves I make when I exercise have gotten crisper and I can actually do all the movements! (I do Leslie Sansone Walking DVD's primarily for my cardio) I'm really glad I started with this challenge!

upping my cardio minutes to 25 (not including water aerobics)
maintain a very healthy freggie rich diet.
getting into a swing of things with cardio and my strength training... to get a balanced workout every week.

I missed a majority of week two because I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled and couldnt make it out of bed for a couple days. I did try and walk a little bit tho but very hard to do when your not all together lol

HOWEVER!!! I am not going to let that get me down, I am going to work myself back up to where I was. I lost 2 more pounds this past week (soft food diet mostly is that cause) and all I can think about is how GREAT I felt when I was sticking to a plan, and how awesome I felt after a workout.

My goal this week is to work cardio sessions in every single day. That gives me atleast 3 extra sessions this week. Hopefully that will amp things up for me!

How is everyone else doing this week??

Just started week 3 this morning by "running" instead of the fast pace walking I do for cardio each day. Woo. I feel my muscles getting firmer even if I don't loose weight yet. As I try to go to bed earlier, I have fewer night snacks... so time will tell. I'm still motivated to get to the end of the Jump-Start Challenge

Alone, it may be faster, but together, we'll get much further!
