Team Leader

Hello fellow Planners!

I have volunteered to help "The Plan" Team as a team leader, with JOCYMC's blessings.

I have been reading this SparkTeam Forum since it started and joined it early on and truly believe that most of us are looking to be supported AND looking to be supportive of others while we work The Plan!

I apologize for the delay - busy week!

Some one had asked if the team required a designated team leader or can you all simply exist as you are - contributing when you can, not worrying about it when you can't?

I had considered this - no team leader...but I received emails from some members that one member was over stepping their boundaries when they responded to other's posts!

That really bothered me but more so the fact that as adults, we have to be monitored because of how we can carry on in an online environment.

I would like to stress that The Plan is an INDIVIDUAL plan. What is reactive for YOU will or may not be for another person! Suggestions are great to share but if a person is NOT asking you for your opinion - keep it to yourself! Again, what works for YOU may not for another!

Another member left me with this, she said, "There will always be people who overstep their bounds, people who are sensitive, and there is a lot to be interpreted from written speech. It isn't easy to keep it all positive."

I think the member who responded to other's posts was trying to be helpful but it did not come off as such. I also think online communication online can be misinterpreted.

That said...there will not be a new leader - at least for now!

I will consider being a team leader although I don't know what it involves.

I am leaving the group and this email to find a new leader for the group.

I do not want to discourage anyone from doing anything that works for them however, if you want to know why I am leaving, just Spark mail me and I will let you know.

You all have been great and without you, this group would not have grown so fast, with so many new faces!!!!
