I will add to my Thanks Giving:

My SP Friends who help to shore me up!
This body that carries me through life

Hubby preparing ThanksGiving Dinner and working with me to keep it as Plan Friendly as possible while still keeping all the traditional flavors we WANT on this day!
(I made the pumpkin pies with Silk unsweetened coconut beverage yesterday.)

laughter
joy
good conversation

kindnesses, freely given

big fluffy snowflakes outside my window
Thanksgiving Day Parades on TV
my young-adult son sleeping in and snoring in the other room (home, safe and sound)

Good Memories of ThanksGiving Days gone by!
a happy childhood!!!!

a pretty good life, pretty blessed overall

I drove into work and found out post was closed.
After getting up we had a two hour delay. Then the closure.
We have about a foot of snow I got some great photos so pretty my BF and I had a small snowball fight. Never throw a snowball at a guy with a snow shovel lol
Oh and scale showed me back down after two parties.

So, no one else wants to play the gratitude game?
Well - maybe when you get a minute or two...

Today, for me, I'd like to add:

normal Dr visit
- her scale weighed me half a pound lighter than my scale!!!!
- she high-fived me for weight lost!!!

softly falling snow flurries
a white dusting of snow on the ground
that distinct smell of the winter chill on someone coming in from the cold that brings back a flood of childhood snow-play memories!
SNOW TIRES!!!!

did I say my BFF? very grateful for her today!
my car running better and the staff at the auto mechanic's shop

The friendly staff at the butcher shop
Farmers and growers and sellers of our basic fruits and veggies!
food!

Christmas Lights - one of my all-time favorite things!
and Christmas Music (nope, not too early for me)

The Plan
the scale being down some more today!

What are you Grateful for today?

During this week that includes the day of Thanksgiving,
let's share some things with each other that we are thankful for...
sometimes we forget in all of these weight and illness issues
that we are blessed.

Here is a thread to act as our shared Gratitude Journal this week...
Please feel free to add as many items as you think of over this Thanksgiving week.
(common practice for better mental health is a minimum of 5 a day.)
