I walked for about 30 minutes and covered about 2 miles. I know that is not very fast but it is a start. My treadmill went to the bone yard this last year and I need to invest in another one. That is the only exercise equipment that has worn out in this home. I will get a new one before winter as walking outside is dangerous and problematic where I live. We get snow and ice off and on in winter time here. It also gets quite cold, enough to give me an excuse to not exercise. Wish me God speed and determination to stick with this as I have a habit of giving up when the going gets rough. emoticon

one hour walk, I'm trying to get in good shape. I might be going with my church on a medical mission trip to Guatemala in February.

Took my daily walk this morning, bu this time I added to my walk. I normally do the perimeter of the community I live in, but today I zigzagged the streets which took at least 25 minutes. Of course I had to forget to take my watch! Will check the time tomorrow.
