I did 50 as well, doing sets of 10 and doing them nice and slow.
I am going to aim for 100 on saturdays. ;)

I do 20 per day, but they are modified push-ups. Looking forward to being able to do regular push-ups one day.

Wall pushups are great, when I started working out in February I did them as part of the little strength training that I was doing, it's definitely a good option when you can't do a "normal" push-up, but as it's a lower resistance exercise you need to do more of them to get a similar result, I suppose. :)

Nowadays I do them as part of my warmup before I do strength training.

I love doing the wall push up but am doing the regular ones on your toes now. Wrist don't hurt today, Tomorrow I think I will increase the number of push up I do.

On a different team I'm involved with, part of our challenge was to do 50 wall push ups 4 times a week. I didn't think it would be so difficult, but boy was I wrong. Wall push ups are pretty fantastic, and you have much more control over how much resistance that you give.

If you can't do a "real" push up yet, I'd recommend trying the wall method, you'd be surprised at how much it works your shoulders and triceps!

I couldn't even do the modified push-ups on my knees, my knees would hurt almost immediately when I'd try that. I'm still working on my knees and ankles, even though most of the issues that I had seem to have gone as I lost weight.

I've done many wrist exercises as one of my wrists is (permanently) damaged from a bad bruise in my childhood, doing exercises that specifically target my wrist has helped it get stronger which really reduced the problems that I had, I can do regular push-ups without difficulty or pain now.

This is what strength training is all about, picking the weak joints and muscles and strengthening them to make problems smaller and smaller until they finally disappear! :)

It's nice to see that someone joined this goal with me! 10 a day is a nice and simple goal to do, and at just 10 a day, every day, you will have done a whopping 70 push-ups at the end of the week!

Is anyone finding it hard to do 10 a day at this point? try 5 a day. ;) The tracker will allow you to fill in the exact number you did, so anything under 10 can still contribute towards the team goal, and will still give you a nice exercise at the end of the week.

I did 15 today, as 10 push-ups a day is starting to become easy for me, while a few months ago I could barely do 7!

Well it might not really keep the doctor away, but it's a nice daily exercise that barely takes any time to do. ;)
Do 10 pushups a day, you can track this challenge in your Goals tracker.

Can't do 10 just yet? Do as many as you can daily and work your way up to 10!
