Run, run/walk and walk. Depends on my energy level.

Consistency is goal #1

I still have a hard time calling what I do--running, but I'm getting there.

I run about 3-4 times per week. I really do love it--inside or outside. It's getting to a point now that if I haven't finished my run by 10 am, then it is just too hot. I love Texas, but it is very hot in the summer.

I decided that I would first do it inside for about 30 seconds at a time run in place in the house to see how long I could go tonight and then give it a shot outside for 30 secs every few minutes

You should just give it a shot, Tema!

Adding just a tiny amount of running to your walks will let you get used to it without it being too intense. But even if that doesn't work out, you really won't lose anything compared to where you are now, you have nothing to lose if you give it a shot! ;)

I'm so totally a walker and have this inner runner in me....there are times when I'm so tempted to just run for a few seconds just to see if I can do it....then fear grips me

I've just started running, I'm still walking over half the time until I get better at it. :)

I did notice that the goal tracker also counts bike rides towards the goal despite being set as a 'walk/run' goal, so I guess I'll get my weekly mileage in easily. emoticon
